I prefer kdrama, especially when they make action, thriller, psychopath, crime, law, medical series. Kdrama is more logic and realistic, they have better effect, cinematography, and CGI than cdrama

I prefer cdrama. West drama are jsut slow and kdrama is too fast that I can't keep up But I find cdrama more even pace and dramatic. I love the historical history of Chinese culture. It's such a shame that most chinese drama / entertainment is not mainstream.Because their culture and way of life is so interesting.but the clash between China and the west shun them out.We only know most Eastern entertainment like Japan or Korea but not much on China.

I"ve watched about 300 C dramas and could only managed to finished 4 Kdramas (mostly Lee Dong Wook's). Cdramas are more entertaining, while Kdramas are too heavy and it makes me feel "tired" from watching it. Also, I like C drama better, because most of C actors/actresses still keep their natural look. Some of them have monolid, crooked nose, datker complexion, and that's just make them more beautiful

Their beauty, acting skills, lines and professionalism are many times better than the assembly line stars supported by Korean foundations! It takes a lot of effort for them to stand out from the hundreds of millions of people, and South Korea's 50 million is not worth mentioning.^_^

I am ALWAYS FOR CHINESE DRAMAS AND MOVIES.. They have interesting stories, unique in relation with their cultural and historical heritage, faraway from Korean romantic dramas which is under Holiwoods influences. I dont say that Korean dramas have not quality, but Chinese story are much more interesting, making with passion and desire to bring something different to the world. And I think that Chinese are very successful in that direction. Go on, China!

Tbh, I started watching cdrama first. While others around me always keep advising me that I should watch some kdrama but I always refuses becuz I was obsessed with dramas but then they started to be pretty boring like most of the dramas have same typical type of stories and those long episodes whenever I start to watch a drama I leave it in the middle. It was December 2023 when I actually watched My first ever kdrama which was True beauty 😊❤ and believe me, I finished it in less than 2 days. Then I watch many kdramas and I finished each single one of them without skipping a min. Today I have watched over 50 kdramas and I keep loving them more and more. I guess many people in this comment section are saying cdrama because they can find them easily on KZbin. But believe me kdramas are worth it. ❤

I mainly watch historical dramas and there are just many more of these Cdramas than Kdramas. I find the Korean dramas are often more intense due to their shorter length and less censorship. Because there are so many more Cdramas it's possible to find ones that feature female leads with martial arts skills and more self-determination.

You just haven't watched or can't understand Chinese costume and historical dramas.^_^

I find Cdrama more realistic and actors more sincere in their portrayal. Kdramas are often exaggerated both in plots and acting, very stereotyped and often playing to consumer demand, and since the storylines are written by screenwriters whilst it is being filmed, the plot can be changed to improve ratings. Cdramas on the other hand stay faithful to the novels on which they are based. I have been hooked on kdramas for quite long but these days, I prefer Cdramas.

Ok ok.... has ANYBODY? seen C-Drama come up in social media for blowing up? Even if it has.. there are very few cases, Look at now! There are K-drama such as "extraordinary attorney woo" "Squid Game" "Sky castle" "itaewon class" "Kingdom" and so much more! Also china is very very jaelus of South korea's culture... Oh i love both drama, and happy that this differences is being talked, somehow got correct answer when you say Chinese drama mostly based on novels. I tend to fast forward chinese drama because of slow narration of events while in korean every scene is unexpected but you failed to mention one comparison that is very much well known to us audiences. Chinese drama mostly end tragically, like so many character dies while Korean drama ends in happy ending but most of their drama is open ended too, like it leaves to your imagination on what ending you will create, it keep viewers hanging sometimes. One example is Lovers in Paris,though popular but way back in my secondary most of my classmates hates how the series ended. And the chinese drama Rattan provided 2 different endings though not tragic but far different from the usual ending, anyway it reminds me of "The Proposal", movie which offers two different endings also.

The kdrama industry is more advanced. kdrama that set at modern background is more realistic, but darker (the society reality) cdrama is more limited when related to blood, killing, not that dark. cdrama can be very long. cdrama have way more production studios, so more productions, evolving more faster. cdrama , China have resourceful landscape, more dynasties than Korea, so cdrama are more fun and deep.
