I dont know if anyone else caught this but at 2:13 into the video, there is a worker who is smoking a cigarette. My first thought was man that is kinda unsanitary and wouldn't want to eat that tomato but I'm laughing at myself because I'm smoking a cigarette while Im watching it. lol.

All of this contributing to the long march of China towards food production independence and resilience. Why ? See attach quote from Australian Financial Review “Between 1959 and 1962, China was hit with its worst famine in more than 100 years. Various historians put the death toll from starvation during this famine at up to 40 million people, with Mao Zedong’s Great Leap Forward policies now regarded as the primary cause of this catastrophe. In direct conflict with the US government’s strict policy of not trading with China, and despite Australia not officially recognising a country referred to at the time in cabinet papers as “Communist China”, Australia agreed to supply substantial quantities of wheat to China - potentially saving the lives of many, many Chinese who would now be in very senior positions in the Chinese government and industry.”. The US leopard can never change its spots.🤔

Well, Chinese did NOT created, might have copied and improved the machine, becuse we already use this kind of machines in ITalia and USA for decades.

Good to see that finally China applies mechanical equipments to farming. This will no doubt improve in productivity in agriculture sector. Gone are the days of back breaking works in the farms. Hooray.

Tomatos bruise easily and are very difficult to harvest with a machine
