Finally a useful explaination. Many videos have no explanation or helpful advice but you've been the most helpful in 15 mins compared to other longer videos. Thanks a lot 🙏

i think the mesh top would still be usable to feed the bees because if you put the icing sugar block thing on the mesh then they might be able to lick the sugar by sticking their tongues through it.

Has anyone had an issue with the bees putting honey into the flow chinese Flow hive? I noticed they weren't even going into the flow hive. I pulled the box apart and made sure flow hive comb was properly sealed. Then I took some honey from a lower brood box and spread over the flow hive comb and bees are starting to get into the hive but not really cleaning on putting honey in it. This was over a 6 month period. This happen on a second chinese flow hive as well. I don't have the issue from the Original Flow Hive Units.

I’ve not had problems with the bees, putting honey 🍯 in the Chinese flow, Hive frames, However I do find it hard to extract the honey from frames as the bees fix the joints so well it is difficult to break the Seal . Not to mention you lose all the wax for candle production

Stop calling it a Flow Hive. This product is still under Patent by the Original owner & maker of the Flow Hive. And by calling it a Flow Hive they are breaking Patent Law. They are made in Australia by Australian materials. I hate people & companies that try to blatantly steal another businesses Patent. The people that designed & built the real Flow Hive worked their butts of to develop this product. They deserve the recognition & the money from sales, not a person or company that has blatantly copied a patented product, calling it a Flow Hive. They have No Right to call it that. I'm sick of other countries, like China, trying to steal & produce other companies products. Chinese stuff is cheap & nasty. That's why people like buying stuff from Australia. As things have to be made up to a certain standard.

@@heatherlewis3713 i understand you but please allso understand that not all people can pay that original price from original product some people just want to try at the end if you like the product you buy the real deal , this world is harsh and only quantity matters

Personally I wouldn’t bother with the flow hive replica, I had a big headache, trying to get the honey to pour from the plastic flow hives due to the bees, propping the plastic together. Watch my video on box born or go with the traditional Langstroth set up I think it’s better 🐝

I heard you say; people advice using the metal queen excluder instead of the metal. Why do you think? Btw the feeders could be placed at the opening or in one of the broodboxes instead of making holes.
@NasierOmran8 ай бұрын
Do you think there is a broodbox size diffrence between the 7 and 8 frame.? Or is it just the numbers of frame that differ..? Btw the original doesnt have a screw on the frames.
@saintjohncoleman86027 ай бұрын
A 10 frame langstroth hive box holds 7 flow frames. An 8 frame langstroth holds 6 flow frames. The flow frames are thicker than standard frames.

This is disgraceful! O innovation . All IP infringement. Buy original flow hive from Australia.

Prices dude. Probably the Australian ones come from china since it's cheap to produce there
@heatherlewis37136 ай бұрын
@lyledylandi6830 You happen to be wrong. Everything is done in Australia 🇦🇺. Chinese products are cheap because they use cheap stuff to make their products with, & they never last that long. I refuse to buy anything made in China. It's all cheap & nasty. I like my things to last. That's why the Chinese prefer to buy Australian stuff. I was told this by a number of Chinese people I know who have come to live in Australia. What sort of country tries to rip off it's own people by making rice out of plastic. Would never get away with that in Australia 🇦🇺. We are world renowned for the stuff we make & grow. And because things have to be up to a certain standard, that's why things cost more here.

You do realise that the Flow Hive is under Patent by the people who designed & built the Flow Hive in the first place. This is blatant Patent infringement. Unless this came from Flow, you should stop referring to it as a Flow Hive.
