When you were asking Raina if there was a name for the area/combined cities, it’s the San Gabriel Valley. Most locals who grow up in the area call it the SGV or 626. It’s more or less one of the largest concentrated areas of Asians in America.

😮not Really San Gabriel Valley is more Like El Monte, Baldwin Park WestCovina San Gabriel , Rosemead… mostly Asian like Alhambra, Temple City etc… City of Industry is further East, Used to be pretty empty but for the Past few years it’s grown mostly Asian restaurants housing and stores… It’s closer to Imperial Valley

City of Industry is literally neighboring multiple cities in the San Gabriel Valley ( La Puente, El Monte, Rowland Heights, Baldwin Park, West Covina, Walnut, Diamond bar ). Imperial Valley is like on the border of US/Mexico and is probably 3 hours away from this area. I grew up in this area and still live here. I've had 2 different jobs that are in City of Industry. Literally takes 3 seconds to put this in Google maps. Kang Kang Shau May is right next to Best Buy and Frank & Sons Collectibles. That Dim Sum spot is right off the 60 on Fullerton Rd in Diamond Plaza. I was just there last week for lunch lol.

@@KanZans what are you talking about? lol, it takes literally 3 seconds to google city of industry and to see that it’s in the San Gabriel Valley and it neighbors Baldwin Park, La Puente, Rowland Heights, Walnut, Diamond Bar and South El Monte. Imperial Valley is almost 3 hours south of the area and is on the border of US/Mexico. I grew up in the San Gabriel Valley and still live here. I’ve worked two jobs located in City of Industry and just went to the same plaza for lunch last week where they had dim sum in this video.
