These Chinese noodles are very aromatic and addictive.
Recipe for 4 people:
Meat and marinade:
4 deboned chicken thighs (boneless)
20 ml light soy sauce
20 ml dark soy sauce
20 ml mirin
10 ml toasted sesame oil
3 carrots
3 leeks
1 bunch of spring onions
1 red pepper
1 jar of bamboo shoots (drained weight 180 ml)
3 cloves of garlic
1 3cm piece of ginger
250 g mie noodles or wok noodles
70 ml light soy sauce
70 ml dark soy sauce
1 heaped tbsp Sambal Oeleck
Salt
oil for frying
This dish can be made in advance and tastes even better the next day. I always make a huge batch of china noodles so we can eat several times.
Asian noodles can also be frozen in portions.
