You're not alone in thinking Jaffa cakes are a mix of biscuit and cake. The British courts had a long case where they had to decide if they were a cake or a biscuit for tax purposes. In the end they were decided to be a cake because when they go bad they get hard like a stale cake, unlike biscuits which get soft when they go bad.

Things like Digestive biscuits are "dunkers" that is are nice dunked quickly in tea. As for Brit crisps and Hola Hoops etc, might be best to try some of the more specific flavours like Beef Hoola Hoops and Cheese and Onion Walkers Crisps.

Jelly babies are so good!! The Thai sweet chilli aren’t supposed to be spicy as it’s sweet chilli! We don’t have many spicy snacks here (regrettably) which is a shame because I love spicy food. The digestives are made to be had with tea!! And I’m with Amber on the flake, I love flake, have a big sweet tooth. Some good ones you missed were Maryland cookies with milk, Fingers (finger shaped chocolate), Dairy milk puddles, Fox’s biscuits. A lot of good snacks aren’t sold in packaging, rather bought at stores such as scones with cream and jam, sausage rolls etc.

Pretty much nailed all the name pronunciations! With a good cockney accent for Wotsits, very appropriate You got a lot of low-key snacks in here, like plain digestives and plain (ready salted) crisps, but at least you had some you like! I'm just glad nobody tricked you into buying Twiglets

It’s just branding 😂😂😂 I would say it’s more of a cookie than anything else but considering that the British version of a cookie is akin to say a small soft cake rather than the American version which we would call a biscuit

Agreed on the Monster Munch ranking, Flaming Hot is my favourite and I don't really like the Roast Beef. Whenever I get a multipack with all 3 flavours, I never eat the Beef ones myself. Walkers' standard crisps are good, Ready Salted is just the boring plain one. Cheese & Onion is my favourite, as well as Prawn Cocktail; those have a very strong flavour. Salt & Vinegar is pretty good too. I used to enjoy Hula Hoops despite their hardness until I broke a filling eating them... I've never liked Jelly Babies very much, the flavour is good, but I find the texture of them really unpleasant. There are other jelly sweets you can get in the UK that I enjoy a lot more, like Rowntree's stuff. As another comment mentioned, plain digestives aren't really much good on their own, they're supposed to be eaten with tea, ideally dunked in the tea which makes them soft, warm and absorbs the tea flavour. I don't even like tea very much (yes, British people who dislike tea exist) but I still enjoy digestives dipped in tea. Chocolate digestives are _much_ better to eat just on their own, they're one of my favourite biscuits along with chocolate Hobnobs.
