He said it is Chinese culture. I was miserable. Then, when my child was born he wanted to live with his parents so we both could work. My child was constantly sick with high fevers because his parents had bad hygeine. He then told me we were permantly living with his parents. He said it is normal in China. I was miserable. The fact is .. most people dont know the main problem. The main problems is because of the one child policy in China. Their environment when they growing up is the main factors. When u grow with one child policy in their family, their parents will pamper their child..love them, the exact word is spoil them. So this girls is become arrogant and stubborn. It is a pretty tall ask for a guy to have the material assets of a guy in his 50s or 60s but being within marital age of late 20s or 30s. That is already an incredibly high bar then once you add in must be a certain height, a certain temperament like ambitious but gentle (which are nearly polar opposites), and looks to be above 6 or 7 well now you're talking about a man who doesn't exist.

I am an American nurse, but I am very happy for and applaud the Chinese men that have married foreign women or are thinking about it. Their society and culture has influenced the way Chinese women behave in regards to marriage. But in humor a bit I would say to these Chinese women considering their demands of bride price, car, house, etc. that when their physical bodies begin to decline after they pass 40 nurses like me may be there to help take care of them, but for a PRICE! So all that money they are earning now in those so called "high powered careers" they better save a lot of that money because they will need it to pay nurses like me to care for them.
