always good to get into the nuts and bolts of the equipment to see how it is put together when you have to service it. I remember my first ever snow blower. Had no clue how it worked. By the end of It I could pick it apart with my eyes closed. Good rig buddy.

I had more snare wire holding together my snowblower that I set in the woods before it finally fell apart , then the second one (That I Have now) came with a joy stick to control the chute worked great until it started breaking pins and I needed to be double jointed with small hands to change the pins . after loosing my religion and the ability to come up with curse words to change any more I took the old crank that I still had kicking around from the first one , few holes here few bends there and now it's on the new one (Which is getting old too , but I keep saying one more winter LOL)

Good morning Brian. The mini excavator is going to be very handy for the new property. Great for content, but even better for digging foundations and the like. Enjoy The Journey - Cheers

Neat machine. Seems like it needs a carburetor cleaning and put some Seafoam in the fuel. Have a good day.

Yeah, you may be right Noel........no time to tinker yet........we are just running it as we are short on time here before we head to the sailboat.

Hey Bryan. Nice little unit you have there. It's always a good practice to give the unit a "once over" and service before actually putting it to work. A few more minor adjustments and it's GO time. In the past I always turned off the gas when I was shutting down the equipment for the day. Like you say, it keeps gas from leaking into your crankcase. We will be watching to see how it all works out. Does she have a name yet?? lol. Have fun.

A few owner's are putting a piano hinge on one side of the back cover, then latches on the other to make access easy.

It might be possible to get a hotter plug for it. That fixed the similar cold weather starting problem I had with my ATV. It will be interesting to see how it works out for you.
@codraven57

The hotter plug is something I haven't considered Brian and you may be on to something there..........I will try to research that for sure. Some more work with it coming for sure........so far so good........take care.

When you know how to do most jobs and DIY, it now becomes about time and not how to. Enjoy your new toy lol

Water in your gas can do that surging. It sits at the bottom of the float bowl where the pick up is. If you pour the gas from the float bowl into a white cup and let it sit for 30 seconds, you'll see the water. Possibly?
@codraven57
@codraven57 6 ай бұрын
You are right and that is possible but now I’ve run 4 or five tanks and it hasn’t changed but you never know. I’ll drain the bowl when we get back there. Thanks for the comment.

Just got my new one, and the choke cable didn't allow full close, wouldn't start. I pushed the choke all the way by hand, and fired right up. Check the adjustment....

You are correct….. now that I have the back off I can see and yes the choke does not make it all the way. Thanks for tuning in.
