FYI: 12th+ gen laptop cpus(and non k desktop i think) have been locked by intel and there is not any known way to unlock the voltage in them

Ps: You can set Gear 1 in this Board. Chipset > System Agent > Memory Configuration > Sets the Gear Ratio to 1 when SAGV is disabled. Yeah this BIOS is a mess but it's possible. I think it's better to use the updated version.

Hey they have an updated Bios on their website that allow you to set manual frequencies for RAM. Since I only have a 3200MHz I cannot tell you if you can reach higher frequencies but the option is there. I think it's worth testing.

15k on cinebench r23 is a 5800x, bloody good for the price of the board

Erying offers a new heatspreader with a vaporchamper. In my case, the new heatspreader lowered the temp to 50-55 C° with an Stock cooler and 40-50 with an bequiet

Ps2: To allow for undervolting under this Bios you need to unlock the overlock feature, otherwise it really doesn't work.

A copper foil shim might really help with the cooling.

I think this needs direct die cooling. If someone could make a custom bracket for this with some spring loaded screws, it might have better temps.

Can I remove the cpu proseccer from this motherboard? Then put it on another motherboard

What if you used one of those graphite thermal pads? It might make up some thickness and no more thermal paste.

You really need liquid metal on that cpu or even better with water cooling, thermal paste is not enough

yeah its quite hot if we use a normal heatsink with thermal paste, easily reach 100 C

yeah i was questioning the thikness of the cpu heatsink..... can we leap it lol this woudnt be an issues there is a guy called derbauer who makes costum cpu brakets and ihss hope he will make some genuis move :D , what if they turned that heatsink into a waterblock ?

Really insightful experiment and review. Keep it up man, i was planning to bus this then build a better radiator and thermal paste. Hope can hit best performance with less 100 degree temperature

It has enough thermal issues even running at it's stock settings. The plate wasn't built to precision, so the gap between the die and the plate is quite large. The conductivity is very bad, which was one of the things that disappointed him about it.

This needs a hacked BIOS and some filing down of the copper plate's 4 support legs to make them touch the die as needed =)

i wouldnt look at it as a gaming board never have I'm looking at it as a cheap little Nas path intel GPU trascodeing is great would do 4k on plex or jelly fine and more than enough power to run almost any docker known to man including a few VMS or it could be a Very over powered PFsense or opnsense BOX LMFAO
