老师好。我不能给你们说一说我童年生活，因为现在没有时间，但是想给你们讲给你们我难忘童年故事。我和我哥哥还在上小学的时候。每当到暑假的时候，我都去农村看望外曾祖母。在那儿我们交了很多朋友，我们天天玩游戏，逛了农村各地，欣赏了大自然优美的风景。 大家都知道暑假的时候天气很热。尽管我们农村旁边有一条河，但是我妈和姥姥不允许我们去那儿游泳。虽然我们知道妈妈和姥姥不允许我们去那里，但是我们有点不听话，很调皮，还是和朋友去那里游泳，就是为了凉快一下。游泳以后，为晾干衣服，我们还要在各处玩一玩。回家以后，姥姥总是摸摸我们的衣服。有时候她能猜到我们去过河边游泳。我们因此会受到惩罚。 这是童年故事，但是对我来说很难忘。

What would you guys rate the difficulty level of the talk show? I can see that the way you guys discuss the topic is very natural, the pronounciation and flow of speech also sound very natural to me. And for me, naturality is the hardest level for a language learner to reach. I just completed the first 10 minutes of the talk show though, but I would say I generally understand all the things you guys talked about, albeit I might have missed some words. I have been finding good listening material to improve my skills though, and this seems like it's a good candidate.

The speech is natural, we are trying to use the words more simple but practical, I will say difficulty 85%

@@dashumandarin I have completed the whole episode and I'd say that I generally understand most of the points discussed in the video. I find it extremely interesting that the circumstance of China and Taiwan 20-30 years ago, was so chaotic, to the level that I wouldn't probably believe if it wasn't coming from people like you guys. But I must say that listening to you guys is extremely exhausting compared with the other podcasts, as the difficulty is way much higher than the others. The amount of insights is outstanding, very unpredictable, but it is also extremely hard to get what it actually means.

​@@dashumandarin Actually, this difficulty is what keeps me from continuing watching. Most of the channel out there are too easy, they speak super slowly and only speak about regular, book-like topics that don't have too much insights like what you guys do. On top of that, the fact that you guys are both from China and Taiwan really boosts the quality of the insights a lot, as I can hear opinions from both major sides of Han people. Most channels out there are either mainland only or Taiwan only, which can be a bit boring to me. Keep working.
