Chinese Premier Li Qiang arrives in Pakistan ahead of SCO summit

Chinese Premier Li Qiang has arrived in Pakistan, ahead of the two-day Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit. Mr Li was welcomed by Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the airport. His trip marks the first for a Chinese premier to Pakistan in more than a decade. Final preparations are underway in the capital Islamabad, with heightened security in place. The absence of top leaders from key delegations has cast doubt over how much weight this summit will carry. Hira Mustafa reports from Islamabad.

Pakistan 🇵🇰 has been a friend and ally of China 🇨🇳 for a long time. How are things going for that country? - Western Liberal Democracies which include Asian countries such as South Korea, Taiwan 🇹🇼, and Japan, are doing well, while countries in China's orbit or *even China itself* are struggling.

As a Pakistani I would like to say that it is no fault of our Chinese friends rather our internal squabbles. Chinese assistance was provided when very few wanted to help us. They have built massive infra in our country and we appreciate it. Unfortunately due to inconsistent policies and governments we could not keep the pace of development going. But not to worry as things are back on track!

every country that cooperated with China became worse a few became scam hubs where all manner of serious crimes and armed gangs operate, Laos currency fell by 300% even with the HS rail running, Myanmar fighting for its freedom from CN self interests, atrocious human right abuses and corruptions at every level. Africa will become another mess for CN to just walk away. These are the prologue of worse things to come.
