I would still recomend this lock for locking travelbags. The reason is they are so very fast and convenient to use under stress. And the lock is relatively small in size.

I have tried the video method but failed. So i tried another way by first pressing all buttons down. Push the open lever to release the lock hinge abit, and pull the lock hinge tight by hooking to something. Now press number button up one by one. There will be one that get stuck tightly. Release the hinge pulling, press up that button. Now repeat until you suddenly get the lock open itself when 5 right buttons are pressed up.

Using similar idea learned ftom this video, i managed to open a good quality 10 button Zarker lock that i failed to open for last 16yrs. Now it can be used again. Thks.

Hi,oky so I have a trick that most of the time works..on the side of the buttons it has like round impressions,so what you need to do is press in all the ones that are the highest then it should open your lock.

one technique is to press all the buttons, unlock the padlock, you will notice that the lock will move but will not totally unlock, and now you try to reset the buttons and you will notice that the harder it is to reset the button then the more likely it is to be part of the passcode.. you will notice that other digits will be easier to reset..

What do you mean by the harder it is to reset? Do you mean by pressing up back the digits? Edit: I already unlock mine. Which is only 8 digits. I just followed your steps. Thanks again mate 👌👍

For better quality Zarker button lock made in Korea, it will be very difficult to trial as the opening lever will only work if the 5 numbers are correctly depressed. First press the opening lever. Then press button one by one. If one stuck, that's the button not inside the combination. Push it to normal after release the lever tension. Then press the lever again and continue with other buttons. Repeat until 5 numbers are left that can be depressed easily, that will be the magic number to open when you push the lever. Alternatively, depressed all buttons and try to push up button one by one. The one stuck is to be push up after release the lever tension. Then press the lever hard again and push other buttons up. Continue until left 5 numbers yet to push up, that will be the combination. There is no need to pull the shackle tight hard as many videos told.

here is another way.... push the lever even without the code after pressing the lever you should notice some buttons moving a little bit if the button is moving it means it is part of the code and repeat until the code is cracked

hello, I've got an Yeti with 0 - 9 numbers - 5 digits lock at first it look just like yours, but when I try your method it just doesn't work, all the buttons go down easily... any idea? many thanks in advanced.

No not really. I've never tried a Yeti. But I've tried some other ones. They have all opened with this technique. Try hard tension on the release button. If they lock up then, it's all a matter of balancing the right tension. Not to hard, not to light.. It takes a bit of practice. If your lock is slightly different. It might retail slightly different technique. Finding the right method for a new lock is quite fun. Good lock with your lock. -N-

Try the code from 9 to 0.. if you try from 0 to 9 all the button go down easily but yry from 9 to 0 you will see the difference

The way that worked for me is press it all down and unlock it. Try to reset the digits others will be soft and some are hard. Those hard ones have the possibility to be the code and it works

hi all. i accidently found other way to open this type of lock. In lock position and all the button protruding, when you slide the unlock button at the bottom, you will see combination button move a bit like something is knocking it from inside. give it a close look. if you didn't see it. press the shackle down until it click and reslide the bottom button. it will first 'knock' one side of the button (6,7,8,9,10 button).Once you pressed the 'knocked' button down, press the shackle down and reslide the bottom button. it will move/knock the combination on the left side (1,2,3,4,5).
