They're well rounded for the wrong gameplay tho They're yet again another hulldown line and are prettymuch unusable as conventional heavy tanks The lower plates are pennable from ANY angle, so angling is useless but their turrets are unpennable and they have nearly invisible weakpoints on the top of the tank. Wargaming is just going all in on the horrendously boring and toxic hulldown meta and i hate it

The tier 9 has chinese leopard 2 hull copy, the tier 10 has the turret copy. They are from the 80's and 90's. Someone talked about this somewhere, sadly I don't remember where. And it seems the wg lies about that turret being an 80's leopard copy, saying instead that it is based on some chinese design.

About the guns, it seems that wargaming have removed them (because of thé tuer 8 premium ?) because these tanks were originally planned with bigger guns. the TX should have had a 180mm with 1600 dmg (for he) and ~1000 dmg for hesh. It's sad because it makes very generic tanks suddenly without them.

Tier 9 is a 1980s hull with a proposed 2000s upgrade project of a Leopard II style turret, developed with German coop. It was meant to be a Chinese take on the Leopard 2. Basically tier 8+ are various MBT projects. So much for WG's no MBTs promise and "Leopard 2 is too modern..." BS.

the German-inspired turret is actually the tier 10 one (like it's litterally a 1224 turret) while the tier 9 has a 90s hull (looks like an elongated 85-I hull with an extra roadwheel). While the tier 9 turret is from the 2000s it is not from a MBT project but from an upgrade for the Type-62 (Type-62G9

@17:34 45mm plate actually means that 136mm guns and larger can overmatch it, which does add notably the Conway with the bigger gun, Type 4 Heavy and Type 5 Heavy with the smaller gun option to the list of tanks that can overmatch it. Also one thing that you didn't notice on the tier 9 tank is that the 8 degrees of gun depression isn't over the whole front. It goes down to 4.5 over both of the front corners for some reason. So one ought to be careful with that on a ridgeline, if that is intentional. On the other hand I'm glad that they apparently scrapped the idea of massive derp gun heavy tank line seeing how brokenly OP the BZ176 is, but this leaves this line kinda lackluster and uninteresting.

Seems like the premium is the most powerful, the 160mm gun has some of the best overmatching that the rest of the tree doesn't. It also has the best armor. Typical PTW.

WG eventually removed all derp guns planned for BZ68 and BZ75, due to how crazy BZ176 was in Tier 8. Imagine a 60-ton heavy tank, that goes 65km/h with a jet booster and a solid turret, and a 180mm nuke cannon with 240 pen and 1400 dmg premium HE round...The entire Tier 10 meta will be shaken to its bones.

this may be unpopular opinion but why not xdd. I prefer the most op toxic tanks actually not being pay to win tanks, branch ones. I would give the tier X the highest alpha in the game to compensate the weak points.

Honestly the test server is pretty much Tier 10 only. Best thing to do is watch my release stream where I'll probs play at least the T7 and 8 possibly 9 too.

Very nice preview of the tech tree.But one thing i think QB missed about the BZ-75 is the shape of the turret front, the fact the bottom side of it looks like a really really big shot-trap.I remember back in the day i used to hit shot-traps on mantlets on the T-32 and T-29 consistently.BUT! They are TINY compared to the whole face front on this monster.Even if you dont hit the THREE coupolas, you can just wing it and hit the bottom part of the turret and still pen,because of the richochet into the very thin top hull armor. Personal opinion,the tier 10 is just a downgrade from the tier 9.

In regards to module damage. Yesterday playing on the test server in 4 games I did 4 ammo racks to these tank by my AMX M4 54. Shooting it’s right side of the upper plate while being above this tank. So as right side of their lower plate

I was so excited for this line… until I saw how incredibly horrendous the weak points are on most of the tanks. Like I understand having a weak point or two, but these are massive. You have no way to hide them and everything in the game can pen them. To go along with that most tanks don’t even have weak points… how are you supposed to be competitive with these? Why would I spend the time to get them?

Considering the tier 10 gets not 1, not 2 but 3 relatively big turret weakspots, plus extra weakspots when using gun depression at a very slight angle and a gigantic lower plate, I do not see this tank getting popular at all. I'm all for tanks having turret weakspots, but this seem excessive. Whilst plenty of other tanks just lack any kind of weakspot on the turret.

Wargaming used all their brainpower on this tech tree line so the premium tier 10 chinese heavy (still in super testing) is a boring combination of whatever they could find in the garage. It's a 3 shell autoloader with 530 alpha,bad accuracy,chonky turret and 8 degrees of gun depression that plays like a cheap version of the minotauro. Have wg really not understood the fact that we don't want more hull down tanks with boring gameplay?

Definitely less excited, but glad they're not looking like OP monsters. I almost feel that the tier X will regret their life choices in many games, with all those lol-pen weakspots across the entire roof. A weakspot is good, but in combination those are nearly the entire width of the turret.

People are really quite funny the unrealistic requests and expectations they have. In the same sentence almost they will complain about power creep, call this new line boring despite it having rockets and being able to get to the best positions as fast or faster than medium tanks, complain about the tanks not having the absurd HE guns, and also complain about the hull down meta while at the very same time complaining that the T10 has weak spots on top therefore it's useless.

@16:01 Just a guess but any tank designer, they are not going to hope an explosive weak point would not be shot at. Whereas modern ships and missile batteries, they are design in part to not take direct fire. Considering how close tanks are in combat, they dont have that luxury of being indirect fire. That surely heavy tanks wouldn’t require the enemy not to hit an explosive propulsion system because in doing so, that would be critical. Safe to assume that Chinese designers are grounded in their use case of battle tanks.

Reinstalled the game after uninstalling it in January just to get the Qb commander, played 2 weeks including 1 week with the new lootboxes tanks in the game and decided to uninstall the game again after pretty much all my games were ruined by BZs... Wargaming hates its players and are ruining the game, it's just a waste of time and energy to play this game. A game shouldn't make you constantly angry, yet somehow people still waste a ton of money in it... Not doing it anymore, sanity restored!

With the stock gun on the tier 7 being good, and the 8 and 9 both having their best gun as the stock/only gun, it seems like a very good like for free-to-play players. All that said, not a very interesting line. The T8 prem BZ is wild and while I'm glad these aren't as good, I was hoping they would be more exciting.

From lots of testing me and some buddies have done, the Tier 10 is atm not really worth it, the Tier 9 is tier for tier better in every case, as well as that the T10 turret is riddled with shot traps and weakspots, also Vert stabs is mandatory to enjoy them Forgo vents

@quickybaby the bz75 tier 10 has a bigger armor problem with the turret. The angled bottom part of the turret front is a huge shot trap in my experience shells bounce off the turret and bounce strait Down into the hull roof surprising often

@@kubka4 There is, you can bounce of one tank to damage another that stands nearby. Not sure about the same tank tho.

@@robertassmaguris8539 yup you can do, it's rare because the shell has to ricochet and not just fail to pen, but it's happened to the front of my Maus' turret a few times
