Food videos, travel videos, are great. But what I love about this is just watching how he interacts with the Chinese people - they are so friendly and welcoming, and wonderful. Even here in the states one of our most treasured experiences with our son when he was little was our trips to enjoy dim sum in our city. I loved the wonderful interactions we've had. My mother has been kind of afraid of Asian people in general - it's a weird reason, I won't get into it here. But she has seen how wonderful many Asians, particularly Chinese at our favorite dim sum restaurant, have been. How warm. It has helped change her perspective. I know it sounds lame, only restaurant experience, but we can't travel and a trip to spend the day at our city's International District is all we can do. But it's still magic. My son wishes he could travel to China. I hope he can. Thank you Trevor James, you are bringing the world together.

My mom was an old Italian lady living in Italy, she demanded that I take her out for her favorite meal in Milan's Chinatown on a weekly basis. I lived in Wuhan for a year and your videos make me feel so nostalgic! I absolutely loved the street food although I avoided the beef/pork containing ones. Re gan mian was my absolute favorite and I ate that for breakfast (and sometimes for lunch) every day for months! The first time I ate it I had exactly the same reaction as you! I've tried to make it myself later but unfortunately had limited success. Thanks for this video Trevor...imho you really captured the culinary spirit of Wuhan on video! And your Chinese is very good! Amazing stuff!!

1. Bat is not a food in China. I had spent years on and off over there. Not once even heard of anyone ate a bat. The infamous “bat soup” video was filmed three years ago in Micronesia by Chinese tourists. They wouldn’t film it and post it on social media if it is not something unusual to them. 2. There is no confirmed patient zero. No one knows how it was really started. The earlier bat theory was based on the facts that the new coronavirus is similar to two known viruses carried by bats. And 17 out of 40 early patients were from the sea food market. It was just a speculation. No one knows it for sure until you can get the information from patient zero.
