Chinese slang comes across as very formal. Lol. It is interesting seeing different cultures' perspectives on commonalities.

It really isn't. Especially when you consider some common slang is "green tea bitch" (someone who's acts high and mighty and wants to look better than they are) and a way to describe hot young guys is "young fresh meat," while a way to describe really sexy girls is "fire spicy."

Be careful that most of them do get outdated real quick and it'd be weird if you still use these slangs after a while. They'd sound cliche and tacky if you still use it.. for example, the 洪荒之力 one, literally that meme starts to annoy people already.
