Things that CCP doesn't want you to know: 1. CCP was established as the Chinese arm of the Soviet communists in 1921. In 1931, it established the Chinese Soviet Republic until 1934. In 1949, it established the PRC. All these states were born as vassal states of the Soviet Union. It was documented that the CCP leadership including Mao took instructions from Stalin up to his death in the 50s. Hence PRC is a product of foreign interference. 2. Mao Zedong was an early supporter of Taiwanese independence, telling Edgar Snow in the 1930s that the Chinese Communist Party would lend "our enthusiastic help in their struggle for independence." He changed this position only after the Nationalists started claiming Taiwan with the Cairo Declaration. 3. More Chinese died of unnatural deaths during the CCP peace time rule than during the eight years of Japanese invasion. CCP has caused the deaths of tens of millions of Chinese. 4. PRC claims its legitimacy from its UN state membership. So they are actually implying that PRC was a rogue state from 1949 until 1971 when it became a UN member state. ROC on the other hand does not need to be a UN state member to gain legitimacy as it existed prior to the founding of the UN and was a founding member of UN. 5. PRC stakes its claim to the SCS via the legal successor to the ROC. However this is problematic according to international law as the predecessor state still exists.

In the Information Age, a ground invasion would be the stupidest, most inefficient thing to do and wins no hearts.
