Indonesia has many 17,000 islands and many languages . If these many parts were behaving like taiwanese back then..we could see forever civil wars for independence probably till today. Luckily, 1928 long before Indonesia was formed as a "new " country in 1945 those many parts of Indonesia decided to become as one nation, one language and ONE "island". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Youth_Pledge. In 1965 in Indonesia during political unrest, many Chinese immigrants (newly due to civil wars between national & comunist china), were slaughtered in Indonesia.. as a result due to competition/rivalry of both political system they called democratic (U.S.A) & communists (mainland china). Taiwanese don't know how Indonesian chinese immigrants suffering in 1965 because of their stubborness adding fuel to the rivalry between China & U.S unlike Japanese that solemnly accept defeat to U.S after atomic bomb (probably Taiwanese want the same ending ?) So I suggests to taiwanese.. don't be so selfish , no war is better then winning the war. Let's see if you really are in worse conditions in the future under mainland's rule..then from there you can rise up. I did respect U.S. and western countries, not anymore now. Too simplistic. This world is full of unknown . Becareful of what you want. You are dragging the whole world to abbyss if war breakout. The consequences will be received by many countries. True. They pushed the tourists and told them that it's not allowed to take photos. Police took notice of the commotion and then told the embassy-staff that in Austria it's pretty legal to make photos of ANY building from outside the compound or estate. The Chinese backed down, of course.

Things that CCP doesn't want you to know: 1. CCP was established as the Chinese arm of the Soviet communists in 1921. In 1931, it established the Chinese Soviet Republic until 1934. In 1949, it established the PRC. All these states were born as vassal states of the Soviet Union. It was documented that the CCP leadership including Mao took instructions from Stalin up to his death in the 50s. Hence PRC is a product of foreign interference. 2. Mao Zedong was an early supporter of Taiwanese independence, telling Edgar Snow in the 1930s that the Chinese Communist Party would lend "our enthusiastic help in their struggle for independence." He changed this position only after the Nationalists started claiming Taiwan with the Cairo Declaration. 3. More Chinese died of unnatural deaths during the CCP peace time rule than during the eight years of Japanese invasion. CCP has caused the deaths of tens of millions of Chinese. 4. PRC claims its legitimacy from its UN state membership. So they are actually implying that PRC was a rogue state from 1949 until 1971 when it became a UN member state. ROC on the other hand does not need to be a UN state member to gain legitimacy as it existed prior to the founding of the UN and was a founding member of UN. 5. PRC stakes its claim to the SCS via the legal successor to the ROC. However this is problematic according to international law as the predecessor state still exists.
