Sorry for responding late! Yeah you can find the products online for sure and there are Chinese hairdresser that knows how to do black hair but they’re also many other choices. I lived on campus so my African friends were always of help.

I know this video's been a while but just wanted to know the name of your dorm? And did you have the beds moved into the positions they're in in the video? I've seen another tour of a room that looks quite similar to yours but the beds were side by side instead. Will international students doing the one year language course stay in the same building as yours? Finally, do you know if there's a difference in dorms accoridng to the gender of occupants?

No worries! Dorm name: Yangguang International Students Dormitory (infront Ningbo university hotel). Beds were in that position after renovation, we found it was more space efficient. There are two intl student dormitories (may be more now) but this was better in my opinion based on location. No matter how long your course is international students stay together but you do have the choice of selecting which room is better suited for you ie. a single room or a room with carpeted floors etc. As long as they’re available you’re free to choose! In terms of gender, no difference it’s co-ed occupancy but if you don’t have a spouse or made a special request your roomie will be your gender. Hope this helped 🫶🏽.

I'm applying for the Confucius Institute scholarship to am having a bit of a hard time selecting the schools and your video really helped in my research.If it's okay, I also wanted to know if you were on a scholarship? If you were, how did the process go when after application, the school asks for some payments of fees?

Ohh Congrats hun! Yes I was a Zhejiang Government Scholarship recipient for all 4 years. The process was fairly easy it was evaluated based on my transcript in the first year; then years 2-4 it’s based on academic standing, conduct on and off campus, teacher’s recommendations, faculty recommendations, no trouble with the law, health, etc. I think insurance is the only other fee. I’m however not sure if that has changed.
