Her whole speech irritates me should he be grateful that you did everything you could to marry him even though he told you from the beginning he was in love with someone else and only wants her like what did you expect to happen. You cry to your parents about how unhappy you are yet you refused to accept he would never love you because you expected time to change his mind and yet it never did.

If so it's no wonder those children turned out to be psychotic, aggressive, neurotic, paranoid and had defensive personalities. You should really learn more about Chinese culture and history before saying things like this. Competition is not harmful to a child, and education is super important, especially back in the qing dynasty for Royal children. Yes, there were always those types of mothers that used their kids, but that is all over the world, even in today's society, but in the harem most moms wanted what was best for their kids and wanted to make sure they lived a good life because some kids could be casted out, given less of a rank when they are considered adults and not given a role. The education the royal family had was considered the best. These kids learned and understood a way higher level then what most kids do now.

@@clockwork616 I wasn't saying that China was the only country that had the system of concubinage, far from it. Every country that was under imperial rule had a system of concubinage, at least all I have read about. And I was not saying education is not important because it is, but there are better ways to get a child to study. I don't think a child's mother should compare their child to any other child, that, I think, is the perfect breeding ground for paranoia etc. And yes, the imperial children did know more than other children, but at what price?

@@diannewalker5132you are absolutely correct there could have been better ways and lessen the pressures because it carries to adulthood but it’s sad reality of polygamous marriages like that especially in terms of inheritance and respect cause even legitimate child could be passed over for secondary or concubines children. You see them people are just nasty at heart so it come to no surprised they don’t know till the end that they are the reason of all their true misfortune , cus sure sadly you get your way to kill the good innocent people that were falsely accused by everyone but that no punishment compared to actually get payed back of all you do’s your wrong nasty doing , and that the real punishment coming back to them and they still all feel like they were wronged for no reason cus there isn’t one it’s just jealousy turning anger and then hatred and then yall all know what comes with the next that how they live and perceive their life no out of too bitterness they can’t take their evil pride isn’t above everyone eles and isn’t truly love and even they family are never truly love to be doing all this for their bad child and always double down for sure till their last dying breath they think their innocent and that they were wrong and wronged from the beginning even if you had no history with other member of people family for them to hate you into dirt into death and guilt trip the good people because they have no trouble they don’t have to try and it’s bother their souls soooo bad.
