This drama turned out to be much better than I expected. I didn’t like the ending. It made me cried too much. I would’ve like to see a happy ending. The kid who played Yunke did an excellent job especially being so young. Whatever happened to him? Who took care of him ?

That harpy is evil 😈 and was part of the the cause of Meili’s decision to kill herself 🤨but she told him the truth 😏 he’s the main culprit of Meili’s suffering and final decisions ☹️ He didn’t deserved not even a child from Meili 🙄 I hope 🤞 that Empress Dowager takes the kid and raises him herself 😕 because he definitely needs protection against this harpy and her devious son. 😡

Her and her parents are evil. He is guilty of not believing Yunke was his son, and he should have trusted her, but there are a lot of men who have doubt. It's called trust issues for some peoples when your loved one is that friendly with someone of the opposite sex. The harpy and her parents taught her son to be devious, but I don't think they are going to be able to harm Yunke, because the Emperor granted his mother the title of Great Consort and him a legitimate son. Which means he is no lower than Yungue even thou Yungue will get their father's estate. I believe Yunke will be just as well off with the Empress Dowager and Emperor's backing. Yunke is so much smarter than Yungue. Unless Yungue changes he is headed in the wrong direction. I hate to see parents teach their children to be entitled brats. Harpy don't have her dad's backing anymore and mil may do the right thing from now on. Just my opinion👀

Isn't that nice? The Emperor issued an edict giving Yunke legitimacy that was already his to begin with but what will he inherit? Will he always be subject to that other little beast his half brother? Since Yunke's father had been keeping Meili's father's place and income for her, I guess her estate could go to Yunke but who will get his? I worry about what will happen to Yunke if his father is outlived by Suyi.

Even if Yunke's father is outlived by Suying, Yunke has the Grand Empress Dowager watching him. There is no way she'll let anything happen to Yunke, especially after already losing Meili cause of drama in the manor. Yunke also has the Fourth Prince on his side (throughout the series, there's moments between the two showing that they'll be the best of friends for life) and in time, the Fourth Prince will become Emperor Yongzheng. So Yunke's pretty set for life tbh.

@@TheGreatUser979 : The Dowager Empress is a nice lady but bear in mind she approved Melli going to the Cold Palace and stopped the Emperor from naming him No. One Son and Heir and disinheriting the other kid. Yunke would treat him better than the other way around. She goes soft and drops the ball at the goal line. I also think Suyi and that stupid, callous MIL (Oh well, what's done is done) should have been more severely punished as well as Suyi's mother. All of them made Melli's life hell on earth. They should have just let her go home and shortened the story. Suyi was never exposed as the one who was behind spooking the horse which caused the accident that killed her friend and pissed off the Emperor and started the entire mess to start with. Suyi still owes us one.
