That's good news. His dad and everyone else caused his mother's death. I don't care if his dad baked him cookies and kissed him good nite every nite. His mom committed suicide because his spineless/brainless sperm donor didn't protect his wife. He allowed her bullying, mistreatment, and humiliation and turned a blind eye to it, and played stupid. Sperm donor also didn't claim his son's legitimacy until after Meili's death as well. This poor kid was labeled a ba$tard and made to kneel to his younger brother and viper stepmother. He was bullied and mistreated, too. I can't say I blame him. I'm sure there was a little rejoicing when the dad died in battle. The only thing is, he's left with that viper stepmother and half-brother. Hope Yunke got the title of heir when he was claimed legitimate and sent that stepmother and bro to the cold palace or at least far away from him.

Уж кого жалко в этой истории, это ребенка Мейли. Он единственный невинный персонаж, но хлебнул горя сполна ни за что. А так, в гибели Мейли виновны все, начиная с императора и заканчивая самой Мейли. Император не может отменить собственные указы, Мейли сломалась, побыв год в заточении. Из живой, жизнерадостной девушки превратилась в живого мертвеца. Любил ли её герцог Цин? вряд ли. Если любишь, то хочешь, чтобы человек был счастлив, даже если он не с тобой. Герцог же из-за своего эгоизма, желания обладать Мейли, сделать её своей, сломал ей жизнь. Остальные персонажи просто сделали из неё козла отпущения, совершают подлости, низости сами, а винят её. Мейли же безропотно молчала и терпела, так что конец для неё логичен. Позволяешь над собой издеваться, терпишь, ничего хорошего для себя не жди.

Yep. He's being buried with Meili, and the viper gets to keep her title of Consort (damn I wanted her downgraded to concubine for the insult) but she gets buried, by herself, far enough not to disturb them.
