In the service of the Nation and the Guru - Swami Tejomayananda on receiving the Padma bhushan

Swami Tejomayananda conveys the gratitude on being conferred the Padma Bhushan award and expresses solidarity with fellow Indians of different fields. These heartfelt words of the global head of Chinmaya Mission are an inspiration for all.
This year, on Independence Day, the Government of India has honoured me with the Padma Bhushan award. For this, I thank the Indian Government.
Translation of his talk is given below.

I am very happy that with me many other very eminent personalities from the fields of Literature, Music, Arts, Sciences, Sports and Spiritualism have also been honoured. I compliment them all.
A nation can progress only when people in every field put forth their efforts and dedicate all their actions towards the progress of the nation.
I express my gratitude towards our Param Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda for having given us such a great purpose in life. We have been incessantly working for it and will continue to do so. I pray to the Lord for peace, prosperity, progress, security and happiness in our India.
