Note - During the lecture while speaking on the subject of levels of consciousness the speaker has inadvertently mentioned the source to be the Mundaka Upanishad. Kindly note that the source is "Manduky Upanishad".

Such a clearcut explanation how can go waste? If one is in negative outlook none can help. Posives imbibe and from negative also if we treat in healthy point of view nothing will be waste. Even in our mundane life if black is not how can one see white? Can one's intellect work without discrimination?
@Kutumba103 жыл бұрын
@@austin426512 I agree with your comment. However, sopaadhika-chaitanya can afford to have levels also, as we experience them. Rather, four states of consciousness may be more appropriate. The nirupaadhika-chaitanya cannot be discussed either.

I just discovered your channel am so deeply honoured to hear these exlanations. Kindly explain all the upnishads. I a reminded of Schopenhauer who would have certainly applauded your efforts. I think schools should have a mini introductory course on the upanishads. Children have no idea about these beautiful texts and they are such a treasure trove of knowledge, that this must be made mandatory not as religious texts but as tools of self discovery.

But, I don't think that dating is accepted by Sringeri Mutt supposed to be established by Sri Adi Shankara, which dates his timeline to be around 8th century AD. Very difficult to establish the accurate dating of Sri Shankaracharya but we can be sure he came later on after Buddha's time.

3:50 > the speaker says that the RgVeda is the first available text of humanity or of any civilisation, what does he exactly mean? Online sources do not support this assertion

Interesting and welcome talk. But I'd hope that, in modern times, organisers of such discourse, which highlight our ancient intuitions and wisdoms, make an attempt to juxtapose these with modern scientific knowledge. That may help draw closer the two dichotomous branches of seeking - Science and Religion. Such an attempt will be unique and has the potential to set the trend for a new kind of inquiry, which can illuminate the minds of many - who would otherwise may not be able to connect the past with the present.
