Glad you came out! You weren't the only one bitching about the security across the street. I heard that from dozens of people that weekend and even after.

Great haul Chin! I have been going to Granite Con almost since the beginning and this is the first time I have been disappointed. Parking was a nightmare, security was awful, it was way overcrowded and very unorganized. I didn’t see any programs or anything to tell you where things were. I picked up some books, but it seemed like comics were an afterthought. Not as many comic vendors as in past years, but lots of trinkets and tchotchkes. Glad I didn’t pay for a booth this year. Not sure I’ll go back

Yeah it was horribly organized. There was a good amount of comic vendors, unfortunately they were just in the arena that they told no one about.

Awesome haul! Great footage from the show, sorry about how disorganized it was that part stinks. But overall you got some great stuff! The Boba Fett piece might’ve been my favorite.

I’m very surprised you didn’t get the Kevin Eastman cover for Power Rangers The Rerun he gave Amy Jo Johnson the original cover art I believe it was at that show he was at her table I think it’s terrible people screaming at you because you bring in water like I’d understand if you were trying to bring in a Soda and Taco Bell.. That definitely sounds like a guy who has a little bit of authority and goes on a power trip and people like that need to be fired security shouldn’t be making people in attendance uncomfortable or afraid of being there All excellent stuff I really don’t have a lot of OA I have a Joe St Pierre sketch and I got some hand drawn art work from the Japanese Godzilla actors that came to Rhode island in June The little ones he had plastic frames you attached legs to and screwed shut for but the larger ones I bought 12x12 frames from Walmart But I think if you wanted to get really fancy with it you could probably get UV protection glass frames from a place like Micheal’s they do custom framing I’m not fully sure though the comics I have out displayed I try to keep them in the darkest spot of the room so sunlight or TV light doesn’t hit it but I also know people have a wall of books with room light hitting them and they don’t seem to be worried about covers fading from light But again if they’re grails in your collection maybe look into high quality frames or something custom if you’re just like I just want a frame that looks nice on the wall something from Walmart or target would do the job
