Hey Richard.. yes it was for me too until I did a little research into it... I was terrified at first when Microsoft removed the script editor webpart for modern sites as it was always my go to for building single page apps...

Hey Monty...remember SPfx is just a way to customise the SharePoint Online experience using client side code...I haven't done a huge amount of experimenting but my guess is most custom / UI frameworks should work just fine...take a look at uikit or something in that vein and try to add it to your SPfx project. Would love to hear how you how!

How i can create a list with userpermission. You can see the documentsname , the user, the group type and the permission level to the document. And show this with in the site collection

Hi Interesting. Is it possible to make a chat / comments web part... With email notifications when a new comments have been added.... And the notification will have a link to the SharePoint page where the web part exist?

Hi there, thanks for the tutorial. I'm having an issue in that when I go to `App Catalog>Apps for Sharepoint` there is no 'New' or 'Upload' options to actually add a new webpart. Do you know if perhaps the interface has changed recently, or perhaps it's because I don't have the correct adminstration level?

Hi there Matthew.. it's sounds like perhaps you don't have the correct permissions? Do you have a development tenant set up that you can test on?

@@ChinoDoesStuff Perhaps... I'm actually brand new to Sharepoint so not sure exactly what the 'tenant' terminology refers to, but I'm assuming the tenant is the host or owner. I have been given admin rights to Sharepoint by the owner/host/tenant and am able to create custom sites etc... I do wonder whether it's because someone has already created an App Catalog and set themselves as an admin. From all tutorials it appears that when you go to App Catalog the first time you have to set one up. When I App Catalog from the Sharepoint Admin page it takes me straight through to the app catalog, from which I can select 'apps for sharepoint'. This gets me to the screen where I would expect to see the 'new' option or an ability to upload, but there is no such options.

Hi Matthew .I actually meant a o365 tenant...as a developer you can get a free 12 month subscription to office365 that you basically can do.whatever you like in..it includes SharePoint!

Great video, However it is ludicrous that you should need all these programs to create a web part. Its starting to seem like its "Developer Theater" then over all requirements.
