I like to run Gamakatsu fineness wide gap hooks with my larger soft beads. I’ve experienced a pretty decent hook up ratio after switching. They offer all the way up to 5/0

@NorthwestOpenSeason no idea. I've tried a handful of other scents, but butt juice is the real deal. I forget why I initially tried it. Probably just bought it because of the name. Genius marketing.

Sucks that you can only keep smaller salmon on that river . North Thompson and around the shuswap you can keep bigger ones

its not you bro i have the same problem i found out not using those t stops and just run the bead throught the hook helps better cause when using the t stop it slides down thats why every fish you gotta slide it up its sliding and bonking that hook out
