Using fresh blood free eggs is the trick. Big factor is also being at the right place at the right time. But I was using pro cure red hott double stuff.

It’s a Quantum Monster 300 series. I’ve probably caught close to 100 salmon on that reel and it’s now starting to get tired. Was a great investment. First time using one and I will buy another when I replace it.
