Renowned celebrity car builder and overall nice guy Chip Foose allowed me the time to sit down with him at the recent Grand National Roadster Show in Pamona, CA. Once my jitters were out of the way I was able to dig deep and interview Foose on his career, award winning cars and current builds at ‪@FooseDesignInc‬ . Through light humor and a few jokes I took Chip down memory lane to when it all began, his father Sam Foose. Learning about the famous car builder in recent years, I used this opportunity to find out how it all got started with Chip Foose. No stranger to the camera Chip was as cool as a cucumber and a very humble down to earth person the fans love. Yep, Chip is the real deal and he has the lineage to prove it . :) I've got a story about a 55 Stude very much like his with his dad and remember watching the show and going to tears .

Chip __ Your work is ultimate perfection and beautifully simple with no need for over- the- top changes. Love your take on Tattoos. Tattoos have no function. It is like putting a Bumper Sticker on a Ferrari. Women especially.

Rana, I have told you you are on your way. I owned Blast Off San Diego a water and glass paint striping company. My first car was with a Chip Foose early Mustang. I shot the Mustang in his parking lot, saving about 10 day process on the acid dips. Much success to you, Rana. Love your videos. How is your Chevy pickup?

Impression was always my favorite build of Chips! The ultimate compliment is that Revell would tool up for model kits of your artwork! At 64 Im a lifetime model builder and love watching Chip at work! Overhauling needs to be a thing again! I can’t wait to see your idea 💡 of what a Duesy is!!! Are those posters available to the general public? I would love to own one! Chip Foose Rocks! RIP Sam Foose! 😢🫡👍🏻🇺🇸

Larry Erickson design it and Craig Naff did the metal work Chip was not involved in the build. I dont even think he was working at Boyds at that time
