I can't even watch it. I just looked at those perfectly good kitchen cabinets and I'm appalled. What is the point of all the destruction? It's just wasteful.

I know it takes longer to remove cabinets, but it does drive me absolutely NUTS that so many things could go to (for example) Habitat for Humanity or at least Craig's list "free". Especially considering C&J's humble beginnings! I agree with Hayden, such a waste.... And almost all the HGTV shows do it.

No one wants dusty greasy old kitchen cabinets
@niok37532 жыл бұрын
@@casmatori my entire house (which is technically more a cabane) is made from old cabinets and furnitures. I just renovated them. I send some, or I cleaned or painted. Everything I have is used. Except the house itself and electric stuff made with new materials. And my bed. Otherwise I take a look around me and windows, doors, cabinets, sofa, table, gaz cooker, fridge , shower, lights… the other things I needed, I made it myself . And everything fit together. But definitely not in the style of these videos. Nothing white or grey. Colours and woods

Overall very attractive but I found that the entryway was too stark and the kitchen a yellowy brown wood vent Hood - which was beautiful - combined with a grey, patina aged pantry door? They just don't go together at all... And why would you copper one little portion of the roof and leave the rest shingled? The red shingles will not patina... Sorry, I love a lot of their designs but this one wasn't my favorite. However, the living room reno was a masterpiece.❤️
@aj4024 жыл бұрын
They did save the solid wood kitchen cabinets. The fireplace built ins were extremely cheap laminates over pressed sawdust boards. Can’t be saved and shouldn’t.

I appreciate this edit and download, but I'd rather see Jo working with the clients and less of the often wasteful demo footage. Much nicer to see the clients happy reaction to Jo's computer design than hear yelling, see dirt, particleboard and drywall flying.

I cringe whenever I see you hacking up cabinets. Don't you know that people would love to have those....who perhaps cannot afford? Habi-tat For Humanity comes to mind. You really should change your policy on this. It's not that great seeing your husband tare things up any way. I don't know why you think that makes us want to watch. I prefer a kinder, gentler approach to these older homes.
