Chip reset Brother LC3219 LC3217 original inkjet cartridge - set ink level status to FULL

The ink level status of original Brother® inkjet cartridges is set back to FULL using the chip resetter on the cartridge´s ink chip. With that new ink level status You can use refilled LC3219 and LC3217 inkjet cartridges again for printing with buying new expensive cartridges.
The inkjet cartridges LC3219 and LC3217 work in the Brother printers: MFC-J 5330, MFC-J 5335, MFC-J 5730, MFC-J 5830, MFC-J 5930, MFC-J 6530 DW, MFC-J 6535, MFC-J 6730, MFC-J 6930, MFC-J 6935

I have an old brother chip resetter bought it 8yrs, and it was used regularly over the yrs I still use it occasionally on my old brother printer resets cartridges to this day. Just recently bought thid printer and awaiting for the chip resetter to be delivered

Hello, thanks for reaching out to us about the resetter for LC3029 - in the past there has been an unlimited version available but unfortunately the manufacturer stopped that product due to their wish selling the same product more than once to a customer - we are not happy about that decision.

Sir I have brother mfc-j6710dw Error "unable to init 48" To clean the head I need to bring it to center, it is locked at right side, due to error flashing I cannot bring it through stop/exit button, Nor by performing cleaning. Is there any way to manually unlock it? Plzz help sir I'm stuck, thanxx

Hello Luke, Unfortunately You are on point with this assumption - we are not happy about it but the manufacturer does not provide an unlimited version of that resetter. It could be made but is not - fact.

Hello Jun Cha, thanks for contacting us about the resetter for Brother LC3011, LC3013 - the resetter used in our tutorial also works for the US / Canada region cartridges LC3011, LC3013. Unfortunately the unlimited version of the resetter is not produced anymore by the manufacturer. We are not happy about their decision but we cannot change it :(

Hello Nadjim, thanks for Your question. Sorry, there is no resetter available on the market for the original chips on HP82 cartridges. In the past there were resetable alternative chips plus the matching resetter produced - but also these products are not sold anymore due to the decreasing number of printers using these cartridges.

I am interested in buying these desperately. Just want to make sure this re-setter works only with genuine cartridges or we can also reset compatible 3rd party cartridges. Genuine cartridges are not refillable while compatible cartridges are refillable. Also do you sell compatible & reset-able cartridges? Thanks

Thanks for contacting us about the resetter for the Brother cartridges. The functionality of the resetter has been developed for the original / genuine cartridges as their chips are consistent in layout and programming. The original cartridges can get refilled quite easily actually - but You have to reset their chips to go on printing with these cartridges after refilling ink. For alternative cartridges the resetter may work but it is not guaranteed. The chips on the alternatives are different in layout and programming from the original ones and between the alternative chips itsself - due to that the resetter is not for sure suitable for the alternatives. Beside the resetter we also provide high quality refill inks + compatible cartridges + one time alternative chips + refillable cartridges without chips + a simple refill tool for getting ink into the original cartridges again. The resetter shown in our tutorial does not work for LC3237 or LC3239. Our supplier is working on such a resetter he has told us but we do not know yet when it will become available (status April 12th 2021).

Thanks for te question 😥 but the sad answer is that the manufacturer does not make the unlimited version anymore - so it is necessary to calcultate the refilling costs including a price per reset - You can still achieve an attractive saving compared to the original cartridges....

Hello Ruth, thanks for Your question. When the contact between chip and resetter has been established correctly the LED switches from red to green within a second. Please pay attention to that the resetter is designed to work o n original Brother chips only and the chip has to be intact. The restter cannot repair a defective ink chip.

The resetter is made for original chips - it may work on some alternative chips but according to the manufacturer it is likely to be not successful on these.

Lamentamos que tenga dificultades con el producto. ¿Qué es lo que ya no funciona en el reseteador? ¿El LED ya no se enciende en absoluto? ¿O el reseteador parpadea que los 120 reseteos se han agotado? Tenga en cuenta que el reseteador está diseñado para cartuchos originales. También deducirá una operación de restablecimiento si intenta restablecer un cartucho que no encaja.

Hola! No parpadea se enciende en rojo pero no hace nada ya , lo he usado con los mismos cartuchos unas 20 veces o un poco más , pero yo lo compré de 120 y ya no va , no lo entiendo

Hola, gracias por su respuesta. Cuando se agota el número de 120 reinicios, el LED parpadea alternativamente en rojo y verde. Si el LED está en rojo, significa que el restablecimiento no fue exitoso. Tal vez los chips de los cartuchos estén defectuosos; no es posible restablecer los chips defectuosos. Según tu descripción, ya has reiniciado los chips varias veces. Son muy sensibles y, por desgracia, pueden resultar dañados en el proceso. Recomendamos comprar cartuchos nuevos con chips nuevos y rellenarlos después de que se hayan impreso vacíos.

Thanks for this question. Unfortunately there is no resetter tool available for these cartridges. The only solution are the alternative replacement chips. They are good for one time use.
