Your bathroom resembles my nephews. He has no funds to get a professional in and after seeing my bathroom he asked me to help. I only started yesterday evening and the cast iron bath is wedged in right. So your video is def helping me out. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a right ballache of a job. Nice one though, kudos for managing it by yourself too. I hate jobs in tight spaces. Coming along now! I'm currently renovating my own recent purchase but still like setting aside time to watch this one!

Just out of paranoia I would have screwed up some planks from underneath in case I took a wrong steep. Its really all starting to come together nicely. Have the missus told you what color you think would be nice?

Thank mate. She's already has the bath sprayed with copper which is what she wanted. She wants a white bathroom with the wall next to the long side of bath in blue, then tiled behind the shower. Really hard to know at this stage what the finished product will look like.

i know its a little late now but you used the wrong type of glue on that chipboard flooring. recommended to use a D4 waterproof glue

I want to give you a thumbs down but I can not cause of your effort. Reason why, you just lost the structure for future repairs.... if they move the tub away from the wall. You are in a moisture environment. It's a good chance the tub will go through the floor cause of the wood material. It can not bare the weight, that's why they use 1 x 6 pure cut wood and not MDF.

I thought about that before I used p5 moisture resistant chipboard. The feet of the bath are over the floor joists at the front and I've put noggins over the back feet that are very close to the floor joists anyway. Plus the battens under the bath rim, that should stop any chance of it going through the floor.
