My heart broke for Olivia everytime she smiled in this episode. You could see she was trying her absolute best to be the bigger person when all she should've been was herself. In the end scene, even though she was crying I was smiling; it was way past time she let it all out

The subtle change on her expression just kills me every time. She goes from 'Happy happy happy, I'm with Peter shalala Everything is beautiful and nothing hurts!' to 'Let me repress the tears until I'm home, please'

1:26 her FACE when he said the other Olivia was less intense. her face in this whole scene, really. Anna Torv is a brilliant actor.

2:04-2:20 it’s pretty amazing how Anna Torv goes from happy to sad through a realization in a single shot. It’s so delicate.

Quicker with the smile was a dumb thing to say. Peter later realized that Lol

I have A LOT of thoughts about that. I think he liked seeing Olivia happier so much he was blinded to the fact it wasn't her. But that must've stung to hear.

He meant well. He noticed the changes, but attributed them to Olivia letting go of her burdens and enjoying life more, which was what he wanted for her, to be happy. However, the way he said that she was "quicker with a smile" and "less intense" translated to Olivia like he prefered the more cheerful and carefree version of her, instead of who she really was, and the fact that whenever he looked into the other Olivia's eyes he couldn't tell the difference hurt her. I'm not saying it's his fault, just stating why she is right to be disappointed. Both are right for being disappointed with the situation
