I'm not too confident with my SW from a lie like this. I would much rather use a PW or 8 iron and hit the ball into the rough just short of the Fringe to take some of the roll off the ball.

If you have practiced that shot and it works for you then continue with that shot. The only problem if you are landing the ball in the rough you may not get a consistent bounce. Creating a shot which lands on the green can give a more consistent bounce and result
