Probably your best then & now imo, with very insightful narration . I loved all of the previous tie-ins. I just read about the Newhall indecent, what a tragedy, young men were only 23 & 24 .

That incident made the CHP come to terms with its procedures, and I am sure all 50 states' highway patrols learned from that. Sadly, 20 or so years later, the FBI would have its own incident in Miami. Sad how it takes incidents like these to make agencies realize their vulnerabilities.

Great to see your videos again! I know I had mentioned the intersection of Chatsworth and Tampa in (used to be Northridge, now called Porter Ranch) where they filmed a scene from the car alarm episode where the mayor's stolen limo was found. Funny enough, I see the intersection every so often in dashcam compilation videos where accidents really do occur, as they have for many, many years, as I grew up a couple blocks from there, and my parents still live in the same house. Perhaps they need CHP officers to head down from the 118 Freeway up the road every so often to keep an eye on traffic! LOL. Edit: episode is called 'Alarmed'.

Live in the area! The 4 fallen officers were all ages 24 and under. Tragic shootout where they were completely out gunned in a shootout. Police policy significantly changed after the incident.
