I've been subscribed and watching you for some time now and I find what you do very interesting. I also find your job to be one of the most physical I've seen. I was an auto mechanic from 1963 to 1986 then moved over to jet engines until 2003 which is when I retired. But what I did was no comparison to what you do. YOU are the MAN!!

Don't sell yourself short. Those combination art/skill jobs are the hardest to master. Many can imitate but not with success.

Other than roll overs and wrecking what twists these frames? I’m guessing they never give you the full story.

I would have to say a large number of truck frames get tweaked in some way shape or another from boneheaded drivers doing boneheaded things that if they had just a little bit of common sense like what God gave my pet rock “Stoney” 😁

It's not just you man I always tell people diagnosis is more art than skill. Why, unless you have the exact same problem on the exact same system the small difference can be enough to change your diagnosis. For example, for an engine over heating there can be multiple points of failure that cause over heating.

Hey brother, would like your opinion on a problem one of the other guys at our shop is dealing with. Got a T880 that is doing a weird herky-jerk whilst turning the wheels. No pattern to it, completely random. Fluid is full, new filter, all steering/suspension gear appears fine. I'm assuming it's a hydraulic issue. Because with the front axle off the ground, engine off, wheel turns freely. Bad PS pump??
@ManuelPerez-ip4bb6 ай бұрын
Just a possibility that the fluid might be to light, like if it specifies autotrans fluid maybe try SAE 10 or 20 weight to stabilise the control valve.

Where should I get new springs for an RV whose chassis company is out of business in the Houston area? 40 foot Safari Sahara original springs.
