3️⃣ Bow the nerve at the flutes to confirm it’s stuck somewhere
4️⃣ prepare the patient with his leg straight at 45 degrees and the assistant ready to move the leg passively
5️⃣ Sink In with body weight, pisiform on soft thumb (so it can feel)
6️⃣ Take tension by pushing off same toes as treatment thumb and keeping core/elbows isometric
7️⃣ Stop taking tension right before you feel the skin start to pull
8️⃣ “Be a statue” while the adhesion Tears under your fingers

An absolute spot on diagnosis and treatment. I started to increase my glute exercises, and next minute, I had glute issues. Chiro, physio, didn't fix it. Temp reliefe only. Saw your vide and got my partner to do the manipulation. Pain gone and fulllrange of movement back. One very sore spot still that is deep in the glute. I am guessing muscle repair while sleeping is causing my sciatic nerve to get trapped in the growing muscle tissues. The manipulation releases it. Now how to fix it permanently.

How many sessions of this should it take to be pain free? I've had sciatica down my left hip/leg for 1.5 years, and have had two active release technique sessions with very minimal pain reduction. Sometimes a disc in cervical spine pressing on the spinal cord can cause bilateral weakness. Get an MRI of your neck. Also look into the "posture pump" if they say you've lost the curve in your neck or if you have disk bulge or herniation. I'm not a doc just a person who has my own issues and says no to surgery

I had my lower back dislocated for 6 months till I knew. I was training at that time until I could not. I went to a doc and he put it back together but the only problem that he did not perform any form of massage and prepare the body for the re placement. No little shock movements or even screching. @mirrorreflex I did several sessions with chiropractor Chris from Apex Soft Tissue & Spine. He uses the same wave shock machine, and it does help a lot with adhesion. Unfortunately, other than the adhesion, I had to do an MRI on the knee that unveiled other issues as well. But you should definitely try the shock wave machine. It makes a big difference and releases a lot of tensions that you are not even aware of. Do you have someone else to recommend..?

Have you dealt with patients whose feet are progressively becoming more numb and have been diagnosed with complex regional pain syndrome? Have you been to an ART seminar? They're not teaching how to feel the specific adhesions on a tissue. They're showing you a) where to put your thumb and b) how to have the patient move based on a Symptom Patterns. That's there the patent. We teach you how to fix adhesions on tissue by focusing largely on FEEL. Our seminar is basically 2 protocols done VERY well (this is one of them) instead of over 100 like ART.

I have a question. Could working out your glutes cause the sciatic nerve to hurt since the muscle underneath it is growing and pushing against it? Because I don't know if it is from that or from nerve issues due to the neuropathy I also have. I've got an appointment with my Neuro in a few months but I was just curious on your opinion.

Yes the sciatic nerve can hurt from a glute workout but not on that way. More because you’re usually loading the lumbar disc into extension and that’s causing the “sciatic” pain.

I NEED THIS please tell me you have drs in Colorado. I started having siatica when I was 10. I’m 24 now my legs numb down to my toe it’s pretty much just that straight line with severe symptoms. Drs always telling me to do Physical therapy but I’m a single mom and don’t have the time for PT. They don’t want to do epidural injections without Physical therapy. I’m writing this at 3am MST because I can not sleep from the pain. I’ve been to the ER 3+ times just to get something that could help because the pain was keeping me up for 36+ hrs

I have re watched this video again and l am truly amazed by this technique.l am from the uk and have already mentioned my hamstring issue. I also have a stubborn muscle adhesion in.my my mid back.near the spine. I.was being treated for costocondritis when the muscle adhesionn got tighter bit this time at the opposite end. The therapist manage to relax the muscle on.my next visit but still tight. I am from the uk. But l am costantly amazed by the ingenuity of american therapist. Most of our therapists are rubbish.
