That plow seems to make the tractor work there a little bit. I notice there was a little wheel slippage there. The tractor was pulling it pretty well, seems like. Thanks for sharing. Have fun.

It was slipping a little but thankfully it has water in the back tires and that helps tremendously.

Thanks for sharing the video Joey. That land is working great. It's definitely getting in the ground good. I have chisel plowed a lot of times and the first pass not get in the ground over 10". Of course that wasn't in plowed land. 140 ain't missing a beat. Yes sir you did the right thing by plowing the whole thing since it had cedars popping up on it. Ought to do good in corn and whatever else you plant on it since it has been rested. Take care.

I hope so. I would like to seen that 88 of your rolling coal in that field.

That chisel plow is a game changer for a 140. I think you let a neighbor get the King disk you had a while back and now I understand why. You don't need a heavy disk. The chisel plow can save multiple passes and go deeper compared to a disk. I'm surprised they won't more popular when new. I was blessed to find the one I have.
@Jtwes9 ай бұрын
Have you got to use it much.
@johnnyedgerton99369 ай бұрын
I've used it twice. Used it at my sister's for a new garden spot covered with grass that was to small to plow and it broke it up nicely. In my garden spot, it just needs a light disking and it's ready to bed after using it.

I had high hopes of planting the whole field and I could very easily but with no way to pick it I better just stick to what I can pull by hand.

Hi Joey , I guess that fresh soil smelled good. That old chisel plow did a great job. When I was a young child my neighbor would go and pick a mess of cressy salad. She go to the fields around the house. I haven’t seen that much in years. Thanks for sharing. Have a good week. 😎😎 👍

Joey , you got me sold on that chisel plow. I’ve been looking for one. I’ve got a big old two bottom plow, but the chisel plow is perfect. You can run a disc on it right after. I was surprised how deep it really goes.
