Have you looked into El Cid for cheeseburgering tactic? His second skill has 10% chance to do instant damage (damage factor 1000) with no cool down. So every normal attack has a chance to proc it .

Yep. You can do this, and I have done it. Run Alex + El Cid, full infantry. El Cid's first two skills don't care about troop type anyway, so at 5511 you are good to go with this maneuver and it works. This is better than Alex + YSG if you don't expect to pick up an AoE kills. If you expect to pick up AoE kills, then Alex + YSG is the way.

I would definitely use Martel in a kvk2 even in seed A... I think you should use Saladin too, you will have 2 mge to get some sculptures before using universals and I'm sure people will be happy to spam your city with rss assistance.

use richard/eathelflead with 10k archers and 10k cav and the rest inf for the mixed troops buff of eathelflead and use martel with sun tzu, so you’ll get much more value

Actually all the kvk1-kvk2 commanders are trash. Best thing to do is save all your speed ups , resources , gold heads until soc and really only focus on collecting legendary blueprints and materials with your gems plus vip. Then instead of going into soc like a beta you can make the most alpha meta March without having to wait to use the best of the best . If you invest into Saladin/William kvk3 you will wish you invested in xy/Nevsky instead

I was working on Ramses when i decided follow my friends back to kvk2... i stopped and went for Saladine, im back to SoC and i dont regret of having him. BTW is the only cav commander i have in this account and no planning on having another one.

If you invest in saladin you could do saladin/aeth. Very strong. If you do Constantine at 5511 you can bring joan to the field. But not only do you need to think about kvk2 but also kvk 3 as most of your commanders will be locked until the last 2 weeks of kvk 3. So investing in saladin is pretty good idea IMO.

No not if you play her properly and stay by a resource node when attacking, she can jump in and with hasty departure it’s really hard to stay on her

Chisgule, please consider bringing Constantine to 5511, I’m at 20m power and trading 4:5 against t5 in kvk 3 at ruins with Constantine-sun tzu. Compare the march to Alex ysg at only 180 heads investment. Absolutely amazing march for a murderball where you are trying to save sculptures

AE with el cid is actually very good, hard to kill what you can’t catch , with hasty departure and March speed bonus, you can slaughter marches walking back to city and hangout in their back line with node jumping

Hey Chis just an idea for a new video with the addition of new equipment and SoC legendaries a new equipment overview, and prioritizations based on troop type. For example I’m in a spot as a low-mid spender where I have 5 fully geared good infantry marches with Epic/Rare equipment. At this point I’m struggling to decide if I should start bringing in Legendary Armor pieces or legendary accessories like Horn / Dagger / etc. What would you recommend?

I just migrated back to s2 yesterday. As a free to play I don't have much options. My marches are only. Charles with Sun Tzu, Aethelflead and Joan, and YSG with Kusonoki, and Khan and Pelagius. I might get shredded easily.

Your gear is a bit of an issue because it really wants you to make Aethel primary, BUT...if I were you, I would look hard at going: Alex + Sun Tzu Saladin + Aethel (if you decide to make that investment) or Charles + Aethel Kusonoski + YSG This last march is shockingly good in KVK2. I just finished a (migrating-back) KVK2 and ran Kuso + YSG to enormous success. Even if it gets targeted the trades are very good with all of the AoE and the debuff removal (sorry Richard, Aethel, and Alex, your debuffs just got removed). With a full archer talent tree build, this march fires skill damage like crazy (two primary skills, kuso 4th skill, phoenix tail arrows) and a bunch of rage + skill damage + attack boosts that can trigger at any time. But...I can't remember if you have T5 for Cavs and Archers on this account. Compared to other gear, archer gear is pretty cheap to add lots of health and defense.

You can still use your SOC commanders in ark for kvk2/3. You cannot use SOC equipment in ark

I just did my first ever SoC around your same power. And it ended in like a day so hardly any fighting happened. Our side won. I decided to go back to KvK 2 though since I don’t like crystal tech. And as a low spender only having a few commanders to work on for KvK 2 and 3 is much better for me.

Aeth primary is so so so squishy .. just finished kvk 1 and every time I saw her on the field it was an immediate target. Maybe sun can give her a bit of staying power but that march worries me. I also think you will be incredibly shocked at the effectiveness of Richard’s and Mattel’s running wild in kvk 2.

You played with noobs that’s why lol, with AE you shouldn’t really get focused and if you do, your suppose to node jump and with a team, if you get that gap with AE and they are chasing , that is when your other marches or team gets value of them just marching while you get free hits on them for trying to chase your AE. I pair her with el cid and with that March speed bonus she’s uncatchable , this is even better in season of conquest due to the museum buff giving AE March speed on top of that. But also there is way better commanders by then so hope you save all your gold heads for soc because kvk1-2 commanders are trash except for ysg but his really only OP with nebu and then again Ramses nebu, killls way better

Nice! Just started now KVK1 and planning to use these three marches: - Bjorn + Sun (both expertised) all infantry - Aethel + YSG (5511 both) 80% archers + 10 + 10 - Richard + Joan (5111 / expertised) all infantry I cannot maintain more marches as I'm f2p... What should I change?

Looks decent, you might wanna do eathel/ysg with full archers if you are noticing that the march is too slow. Also rich/eathel might be something to consider once she is expertised and then put your joan behind bjorn and ysg behind sun. You should also try to max out eathel asap since most ppl have her maxed out before kvk 1 starts. Keep working on your ysg and put some windswept equipment on pretty much all of them and maybe put some epic equipment in there if you have the blueprints. If you wanna do the city thing chis keeps talking about id suggest bjorn/ysg Id also start working on belli/baibars incase you get locked into your starting zone

Switch ysg and Joan. Kvk 1 you will find ysg and aethelfeld are gonna get smoked so fast … ysg can’t be use to fullest if he can’t stay on field. Put behind Richard kvk 1

Saladin is arguably more of a meta commander in SoC then Alex. Therefore I would take saladin to 5551. Allowing pairings of Saladin/Aethelflead, Alex Ysg, Charles Suntsu for 3 marches. To use 4 marches I would pair Saladin Ysg, Aethelflead/Joan, Alex/Suntsu, Charles/Bjorn. Thoughts??
