You have Alexander the Great better for open field than ramsses? I have always destroyed every Alex I fight with Ramses and even with El cid. I truly believe Alexander the Great is overhyped and I regret investing into him to be honest. I would have been way happier with his sculptures on guan or scipio

Great list! I don't think there is a single ranking I would disagree with. I do think one other thing affecting Ramesses right now is the plethora of highly usable archer commanders. You really have to be at your 3rd archer march (arguably even your 4th) to bring him into play assuming all options available.

@@lavenderlilacs Not sure if you are asking me or Chisgule but...You can get YSG from Card King in SoC (which is going on right now). One downside to archers is that the very best are MGE (Artemisia, Amanitore, Nebu), but Ram is still very well paired with YSG, Cyrus, Tomyris, or even Gilgamesh. Regarding your Saladin, he will go great with Nevsky, XY, or William. XY you can certainly run at 5511 and William at 5551. Nevsky is trickier because all of his skill are so good. I kind of prefer 5115 if forced to choose.

@@lavenderlilacs with archers you can basically choose any combination and it will be quite good. With ram i think the best are ysg or cyrus or for a super tanky march with artemisia. If you dont have enough heads/ havent unlocked any of those yet a relict mehmed at 5511 is rlly good

Hey Chis! Just got 4 of my friends into Rise of Kingdoms! They love the game. Told them to not play with me because my kingdom would have a 6 month head start lol. They are in there own kingdom and this is a great excuse for me to make a restart account! They really like the game and I love playing with them. I might even migrate my main. But was wondering, with new migration rules, will a kingdom allow people that are less than 20 mil to migrate? Great Vid chis I am working on all the good commanders! You can migrate but you have to be quick. Only 30 people can migrate per season so you have to be one of them.

Lol, inf player here. XY Nevsky has completely tilted RoK back to total cavalry meta. Seems as though kvk2 and 3 are now the only times in the game where inf are good. Hoping the new inf commanders balance the meta again. Same goes for archers. XY Nevsky dominates too many categories.

So many "I'll have a card up the top” mentions with no card. 😂 To open field Attila Takeda still rules supreme for f2p, your going to load up enemy hospitals. Sevs matter. Second Guan Leo, third Nevsky behind either XY or Sala. I've not seen enough real world results but XY so targeted forever I'm leaning towards Sala.

So just my $0.02. If you are looking for a Wheel commander for YSG, Ram is the way to go imo. But Nebu is better (obviously harder to get). If you have Nevski and Minamoto, you are ok. If not, William may be a higher priority (and lower sculpture cost) than something like Ram.

yeah, the best option is nebu, but honestly Ram/YSG is still very good. It's what i've been using since before nebu existed and honestly it's just not worth the heads to do nebu for me for a tiny upgrade.

I would only spend $100 on mina if really want to rally forts. Unless you're ok with spending that. He's good in the field don't get me wrong but there's better choices out there. Unless you want a quick exp solid cav commander.

Archer main here and for you to put gilga above ramses is atrocious. Gilga is dog in the field the health debuff is nice but in terms of actual field power and presence not just trying to debuff the enemy as much as possible gilga is dog. Most of your audience is f2p/ low spender garbage commanders like Gilga should not be suggested to them over powerful fighting commanders like ramses. You are a whale who can afford to focus on weakening the enemy where as most player can't afford this route and just want powerful marches they can get good results with. And ramses is the best performer for that out of all the archers. For a long time you have failed to remember that your fighting Experience is extremely different then the average player. They aren't max tech top equipment vip 18 whales with unlimited rss and troops at their disposal. They want The best bang for their buck. And having commanders like Gilga in that category is bad enough but having ramses who is literally the number one bang for Ur buck for archers next to ysg really is terrible advice and you are genuinely giving newer f2p/ low spenders/ average players some bad advice. You yourself said many times you used gilga in the field Ur previous kvk and you just weren't feeling he was powerful enough. You need to remember most of Ur audience doesn't have 5-7 S tier marches to bring to the field that they can juggle between commanders to see which debuffs stack best together. 95% of Ur audience if they max gilga may be using him in the open field for the rest of their rok career. Simply because he is what they have and in sorry but gilga is not even close to a commander anyone should recommend for that level of Investment, Ramses is tho. You used to even say you weren't sure about nebu ysg because that March was too squishy for your casual f2p with low end tech and equipment. It is like you have completely forgot this side of things. You really have to understand your audience more. You used to see potential in pairs like nebu ysg but were cautious to suggest marches like this because they aren't practical for everyone. Now a days you have good Experiences in your top tier whale account with your top tier whale everything and suggest these will be The same Experiences for your audience. Your lists like these literally decide 100s to 1000s of people next Investments. If I wasn't a rally leader I would have never done gilga. And that should be 99% of players approach to him to. And ramses should be the opposite. If you are an archer player ramses is the way to go for field. Still a huge fan I just hope you see this and consider it a bit in Ur next commander video. This rant was primarily focuses on gilga and ramses (for good reason.) I own every single archer commander expertised. And in terms of field fighting ramses is just the best. A super tank commander with massive damage that you can pair with literally any other archer commander. Is really the golden goose for an average player. He is a slightly stronger( fighting wise) archer version of saladin. Alex, ysg, saladin. Then guan, ramses, and now nevsky. You do this path and your set for kvk 1-2-3 and soc.

@@Garo.11 15% archer March speed is literally nothing when being chased by cavalry. My Aman art March just about keeps up to my nebu ysg March. In theory nebu's 15% March speed makes a difference when fleeing cavalry but it really doesn't lol. But to answer your question no I use Cyrus ram. Not ramses ysg. What I can tell you is if you are being chased by cavalry marches,Tho neither a nebu ysg or ramses ysg will get away, the ramses ysg report will not be as painful as the nebu ysg. Something for most players to keep in mind of theyre truly worried about running from cavs.

@@Garo.11 ram and nebu have very different roles. Nebu outclasses ramses in canyon because aoe in canyon is everything. Nebu has his advantages over ramses and ramses likewise has his advantages over nebu. But in terms of pure field fighting power ramses is better. Nebus aoe is amazing for getting kills but he is glass cannon with almost no utility and no punch back power when attacked. When you pair this with the fact everyone targets nebu, he is difficult for most average players to bring out successfully. If i wasnt an archer main and only had room to bring one archer ysg March. These two marches would be my candidates. But for most people I would suggest ramses because his power on the field is second to none but nevsky. When I say power on the field I don't mean which commander will contribute the most to your team I mean pure power as in This commander hits hard, is hard to kill, and is a menace to deal with for the enemy. When I bring out ramses this March just feels just very very solid. When I bring out nebu I don't feel that at all. If my nebu gets target my report is God awful and he dies so fast and if my Cyrus ram gets target it takes forever to kill and the reports are actually rarely ever painfully bad. And it would be the same story with ysg insead of Cyrus. Because they offer similar levels of survivability.

This will forever be an issue for Lilith. There is always a new meta, which makes many many earlier commanders completely obsolete. I don't understand why Lilith won't make commanders that will synergize with more commanders. Instead just ruins the game until a new OP pair comes out
