tbh that hithlain is good on any commander cause yeah eowyn doesn't use focus but the more focus you have does increase damage reduction a little

Smite is modified by both might and focus as it does 104% of the basic physical attack, meaning it would be better to use on a high physical one as 104% will be modified (400 focus will get it to around 130%)

A good purple is the battle axe it gets flay and when maxed is 45 might or around that

100% correct about King of the Dead and the Drums. No other accessory can be put on him if you're in a Role Play server.

For blue weapons, the Orc Scimitar is actually a great choice for Men commanders that need speed. Gives 15 Might and 22 Speed, which is pretty much the opposite of the Ranger's Dagger (20 Might and 15 Speed). As for epic weapons, the Mirkwood Bow is really good if you focus on ranged units; it's basically the Cutlass for ranged units lol. So, basically good for players who are either Lothlorien or Arnor. The Battle Axe is awesome for buffing Might. Oh, and in terms of chest pieces, the Hunter's Skin is really good for focus heavy commanders.

The issue with Orc Scimitar is that for most of the men commanders that need speed, (Eowyn and Theoden) the Scimitar has no good perks, while the Ranger's Dagger and Spear of the Rangers have perks that maximize their damage.

@@Drucificious Flay is a decent enough buff to make it a good choice for Men commanders too, in my opinion. But I understand that everyone has a different approach

Uruk-hai pike, old casque and skull cap for damage commanders are also amazing for F2P players. I use them on my Aragorn II and Ughtak.

Hay i noticed you are using the Morningstar on Aragorn II but especially for aragorn there is a better option on blue weapon i think. The fact that Aragorn II r3 Skill Strider ignores all race restrictions gives him the chance to use the Uruk-Hai spear that gives 30 might and cluld have 2 nice effects on it. First is pierce and the second is balance stone. Also Strider gives him +30% Equipment stats what makes Aragorn II very strong even if you only use blue Equipment on him.

how do you prevent gandalf from stunning the unit he inflicted with madness? I was using a bone mask with hysteria on my gandalf but the battle reports all would show him inflicting madness then stunning the same unit. Has this happened to anyone else?

Am i only one to run Gandalf with blue focus body armor? Its sad that there is no options for focus armor. Quilted armor has very low focus stats

If you want more focus, switch to the Garrison Coat. You sacrifice the speed and might, but you get double the focus. As for epic armor, the Hunter's Skin actually provides the best focus stats.

@@mejuliie If it were just the focus aspect that mattered then yeah I would agree, but there's also the sub-stats and perks that need to be taken into account. Hunter's skin has army defense ranged, which isn't super important, and sub-optimal perk choices, while scale mail has army defense melee and melee vigour, which synergizes very well with Gandalf's build, while still giving a decent amount of focus.

Ive got a helmet "...of the sunken isle" (flawless) It has an effect, that has a 16,X chance to be immune to Madness AND Stun (seperate chances) If you max-refine it, youll get 100% immunity the first 4 Rounds (WK counter-item) It take this over those debuff-removals for Iron guard (max refine: 36% hp for all units (or melee units only) PER ROUND). For theoden it would actually double his regeneration

I've always wondered about the Modified by Focus/Might/Speed stat. With Sustain the effect is modified, but how much? Is it based on the percentage that you see when you press the commanders Focus icon? Good content btw Chrisgule! getting epic items f2p is really annoying, got 1 cutlass in 2 seasons. my highest epic item is 3stars with 3 refines.

a tip from someone who has spent 40$ on the game just invest all epic into one commander then all gold and maybe 1 or 2 epics in your second and third commander and mostly run those 3 for me I run all my good epics that are 4 star and like 2 and refines cutlass 4 star 3 refines scout mail 4 star 3 refines horseman's helm and 4 star 2 refines hithilian on my eomer and then I run gold items and a worn out smoking pipe with 2 stars and 1 refine then on my legolas I run a mirkwood bow with 1 star and the rest of his items are gold only focusing on two or 3 commanders I found to be very effective so you don't get absolutely wrecked by whales.

He is covering epic items. He was quite accurate for epic items for general use stuff. There are some other niche equipments that are great for one specific commander, but he covered all the general stuff. Legendary level stuff becomes much more nuanced highly dependent on which commander is using it and what build you are going.
