Arn't the modifers completly random when you get the original item back? I mean getting back the second wind was lucky?

I already tried it with purple items with 3 rounds of refine/upgrade. Each time I got the same upgrade on the item I have recovered.

I tried it over 50 times on several different items and NEVER got anything new. Always same items that i fed to refine i got back, with same abilities. I even made guides for infinite loop of refining and what you need to do that on official discord and explained it to others. That way it let me try as many times as i wanted, so i kept doing it trying to get new ability on item, and never got anything new.

I know the process… received my 2nd mithril shirt with my seasonal medals. I strengthened the 1 I favored with worn out equipment (so I thought) and went to refine it but nope. This dummy used it to strengthen. LIVID!! I’m an advocate and the reason there should be a final prompt prior to strengthening.

While this does work for most items I've tried it on, it will not work for me on Horseman's Helm....but perhaps the success of getting a different modifier depends on the gold star level of the item your going to use to do the refining with ..I was only using 1* gold and not 2* since I don't have access to a lot of the same item. I was only yielding 1 item instead of 2, so it kept giving me the same modifier I already had.

Not going to lie, I cringed pretty hard when you chose to strengthen with the Second Wind pipe and not the useless Husbandry one. It hurt me inside haha.

TBH 3% extra rss at the start of season for gathering is pretty good for that brief window where all you do is gather with ability points. just sayin' haha

@@chisguleplays Then build an Epic item for that! Gold accessories are so rare and needed for upgrades haha. Should be fodder to strengthen something else or used in refining your good fiddle. Just seems like a waste having that one sitting around doing nothing outside of the first 4 days of a season. Just my opinion though, you do you!

People like me, who is following chis for last 2~3yrs & don't follow other's channel, this trick definitely new for me.
