Just curious what your rpm’s are at 70mph with 4:10gears? I’ve got the 5.7 with 3:92gears and it’ll runs 2000rpm’s at 70. Thx buddy luv your vids

Great question! And thank you! 🙏 My mpg’s are a bit skewed as I’m running 37-inch tires and have not yet recalibrated my speedometer. I also do a lot of city driving, off-roading, and towing the m1102 trailer. I usually see around 11-12 highway (non-towing), 10mpg in-town, 9 while towing the m1102 (which weighs around 2000 lbs when loaded), and 7-8mpg when off-roading (rock crawling, slow off-road). I’d say add about 1.5mpg to those numbers to get my actual, calibrated mpg.

Crap, I’m sorry. I just noticed you said rpm’s and not mpg’s. Let me get a proper number for you and report back. Sorry about that! 😣

Great video! I know it’s gotta be some work setting up cameras. I’d like to get into the Vlog stuff. We camp all the time.

Out of all the vehicles you've owned, what would be your top 2 or 3. Seen a lot if jeeps and power wagons
@MotoringAdventures_KE7SAIКүн бұрын
That's a tough one. Because I like the vehicles for different reasons. All things considered, I'd have to say: 1) 2022 Power Wagon, 2) 2021 Rubicon392, and 3) 2019 Ram Rebel. In terms of my favorites, w/o having to accomodate the family or be somewhat practical (lol): 1) 2021 Rubicon392 (hands down one of the funnest and coolest vehicles a person can own; it'll go just about anywhere and wow people with it's acceleration), 2) 2019 Mustang GT Performance Pack Level 2, and then the 2022 Ram Power Wagon. The PW obviously ranks very high (I've owned three!). It does a little bit of everything I like, while also being practical for bringing the family and gear. The 392 was very close second since it does everything (and is insanely quick and unique), with exception of the ability to carry gear and family most comfortably. The "perfect" vehicle to me would have been a Gladiator 392. But then again, I have a family of 4 that wants something a little more comfy if I expect them to ride across the country in that backseat. Good question!

Honorable mentions: 2017 Ford Focus RS, 2016 Mustang GT PP1, and my 2016 Ram 1500 Lonestar. The Focus was a fun little pocket rocket that had some SERIOUS handling characteristics. The 2016 Mustang GT was the best on-road performance for the money! I paid just barely over $30k for that back in 2016. Insanely quick and stylish for that kind of money. And the Ram 1500 Lonestar was just a great, roomy, and somewhat economical (compared to the Power Wagon), everyday pickup truck that was also very comfortable and practical on road trips.

Thank you for taking the time and ESPECIALLY for the detailed answers. I've owned many vehicles like yourself but have never left the 1/2ton world. I've always wanted to try a power wagon but never saw the reason of having one considering I never tow anything heavy. But the more I watch your videos of its capabilities and confortableness, the more I'm peaked on getting one, just to have one. Thank you

You’re welcome! I could talk forever about the subject. Lol! Having owned both half ton and 3/4 ton rams, just keep in mind they ride differently. I’d definitely take a few for a test drive before you take the leap! I came from a Jeep, so I was a bit used to solid axles and the PW just seems like a Jeep gladiator on steroids. With that said, I did come from small coupes and sedans before my first Jeep. Just have to embrace the change sometimes.

@@MotoringAdventures_KE7SAI I couldn't agree more about embracing the change. Will definitely give them a couple of test drives. Thank you
