Hello. I have a question. I am a veteran currently receiving VA benefits because I am totally and permanently disabled, due to a military service connected disability. After a few years, VA determined that I also suffered from PTSD due to trauma. What I would like to know is: Do Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick LTD only offer assistance to veterans for VA benefits only up to 100%, effective when veterans file claim, or does this 'law firm' also offer assistance to veterans who want to file a lawsuit against VA for back VA benefits effective when veteran was diagnosed, also addiional compensation for VA's negligence?.

Our office get involved in the appeals stage of a disability claim, meaning we assist once VA denes a claim.

@@CCK_Law, okay. But, does that mean getting 'involved' in the appeals stages of disability claims related to VA benefits up to 100% total and permanent ONLY??! Because I filed for benefits effective when I was diagnosed through VA, several times. I was denied every time. It appears that so-called VA attorneys only offer assistance to veterans for VA benefits up to 100% and effective when veterans applied for benefits. Is Chisholm Chisholm & Kilpatrick LTD an actual law firm???

The VA lowball the hell out of me for my VA rating! They gave me a 70%! All of the things you mentioned has not been properly documented and I have pretty much all of these conditions! I feel i should be at a much higher percentage! I will have to talk to my doctors and work on my VA claim!

I've been diagnosed with ptsd anxiety and sleep apnea aswell as Tinnitus and believe it or not the VA denied all of the claims , I'd like to know if I could contact your law firm and see if you guys can help me get my ratings that I and every denied veteran deserve. The VA really doesn't care about it's Veterans and shame on them we served our country faithfully.

Did you re-file with different evidence or what?

Was rated 70% for PTSD but I have extremely bad headaches after my triggers and it seems to have a lingering affect. I may add this secondary to PTSD

I recently read that prostate cancer can be filed secondary to PTSD. Is there any truth to that? It said it was because PTSD can cause a person to become lethargic and inactive and more that can make them susceptible to prostate cancer. Is there any truth to that?

I suffer from a lot of the secondary conditions. How many claims would I be able to file under the PTSD claim criteria you just explained?

Will a VA mental health psychiatrist write a nexus letter connecting migraines and gerds to my PTSD. I’ve been seeing one on and off for several years.

The VA will periodically attempt to lower your disability rating if you do not continue to seek treatment from a condition that is not static such as PTSD. If that is correct, when you receive TDIU do you have to continuously seek treatment ? Does the VA lower your rating if you're on TDIU?

How about type 2 diabetes, can you rate that secondary to PTSD?

This is insane. All my issues make sense now. I'm not a vet but was abused by a psychopath. All these issues doctors couldn't find any bloodwork reasons for. This all came out about they tried to kill me. Why does it still last? Cortisol? Epineprhine? Neurepinephrine?

I have a question for everyone. If someone has a successful VA Tinnitus claim and is awarded the 10%. How do you add or combine additional clams to that original successful claim ? Such as hearing loss or migraines or whatever. Will they be separate claims? or different ones ? Is it better to combine or not ?
@ima8533 Жыл бұрын
You can get 50% for migraines I think separate would be best but look more in to it

Is it okay to add all conditions related to ptsd as a secondary condition on one 526EZ? Also, should I write separate personal statements for each condition or put them all on one 4138? Thank you all!
