Just purchased the black date version. I chose it over the seamaster because it wears better for me and feels lighter and more comfortable. I actually like the inverted cyclops. Gives it character. Anyway, really cool watch. A little playful with the light blue text and hands. May still purchase a more classic styled diver with the money left over. Leaning toward a Monta Oceanking.

I own a Aqua-Terra, Explorer, Over seas, Planet Ocean etc. I know good watches. I own a Carrera Chrono also. The fit and finish of my Carrera is not inferior to my other watches. Maybe my overseas. But my omaga and Rolex cannot compare to that either. I stopped in tonight to look at a few Tags while I was waiting for the wife. Tried on a Carrera Chrono Glass box. Wow. I was blown away. Fit and finish a level above my own Chrono. On par with most of my other watches. Tried on the watch in the video. Again. Blown away. Fit and finish has come along way. The design and fit and finish punches far above it's weight. Well worth $3800. I paid $3300 by buying the Glass box too. In my opinion..so much so I bought one. I would never have bought one in the past. The bezel is silky smooth with audable clicks and the crown is as smooth as any watch I own. The Carrera Day and Day Date are getting the new in house calibres in November. I cannot think of a better diver at this price point brand new.

I’ve seen and tried out these new Aquaracers in real life and I agree that dial looks stunning, there mo other word to it. So dynamic and beautiful as it catches light. However, I came out of the experience thinking that the watch has too many design details that, seen in isolation, are well executed but can feel a bit too much when taken in together. Like a delicious ice cream that has a little too many toppings on it. My taste buds just don’t know what to focus on.

This is a very good refresh, which I found to be wonderful on my 7-inch wrist. My only issue is the magnifier and while I don't mind its existence, I wish it was flat on the top and bottom to better match the bezel design. That or just remove it altogether, even though my aging eyes would like it. I think the movement option is great and don't care if it's in-house or not. In fact, potentially being able to service a watch outside of the watch company is appealing. I just want specs and you get them with this movement.

I got my green version 1 month back. Was looking at the Tudor BB. But had to switch to the Tag Green Aquaracer due to those stunning looks and after all it is COSC certified too. Love it.

I bought a black one and it's really cool! The design is beautiful with the blue hand, COSC certificate, 80 hours of reserve. A friend of mine has a Submariner, and the two are very similar. The difference is that you can buy the watch from a TG store,the price is less inflated, the watch is less targeted for theft. I'm very happy with it and if I bought a Rolex one, it will be another one given the similarity to the Sub.

When I measured the 43mm prior generation GMT the case was actually closer to 45mm. I believe Tag was measuring the bezel which is legit false advertisement. Not sure how this case actually measures. Also I like the way Tag implements the date window by making it on the inside of the crystal and not the external like every other watch brand. They’re doing a great job. I give it 2-5 years as long as they don’t mess up with another Mario release and they’ll be on par with Tudor

Hamilton khaki field auto on a blue sailcloth strap by artem straps. Own an oris aquis and tag aquaracer quartz. The tag was my first watch purchase years and years ago when i didnt know much about watches. Fast forward to today, i was going back and fourth between this and a tudor black bay 59. Im going with the new aquaracer gmt batman. Its just unreal value for the money and in my opinion, the best looking diver out there. Amazing review

I actually like Chrishom's review coming in from a standpoint of 6.5" wrist size and the real length of lug to lug that includes the bracelet specs which other watches might sound like very long lug to lug (i.e. Sumo) but the actually fit on the wrist.

I just bought the green. Wow the colours change so much throughout the day it's like having a different watch for daytime and the evening. The finish and feel of the watch easily match the seamaster and is very close to Grand Seiko. I was looking to buy a Tudor black bay but this just blew it out of the water so to speak

I'm wearing my 14060m sub on a rubber strap, shame Rolex don't offer this option. RubberB offer some custom straps that fit lovely. Tag are really upping their game, watches are becoming desirable and with new sponsorship deal they are showing ambition to grow. Watch out Tudor, Tag are coming for you.

When I was young Heuer dives is something I always wanted as a dive watch, not Seamaster, but well, since Bond also wears Heuer at some point too (Dalton era) so it's fine haha but as I have my own money now I have a number of dive watches and now I don't want Heuer anymore, unless that's Solar AquaRacer

Good review, and impressive upgrades by TAG (especially for the relatively reasonable price), but for me several design elements lack class and keep them below the level of a Submariner and Seamaster. Two examples: the bright yellow second hand looks garish, and the two microadjustment bars sticking out of the clasp look odd and could get caught on a sleeve. So, not to my taste, but I can see the value proposition.

As a “snobby” seamaster owner, this watch is on my radar 100%. It’s unique enough to not be considered a homage to ANY diver. It’s a decagon, has a wave ripple dial, and the bracelet isn’t a standard oyster with its slanted side links

People will shit on TAG no matter what, they will always find something bad to say about it, so buy what makes you happy. Ive seen and tries the non gmt v.ersion in blue and black and the watch feels very well made, bezel action si super smooth with low sounding clicks. For me the main selling point of this watch is the new movement, 80Hr, 28.800 Bph, 4Hz, 30 jewels, you cant get that from a base sellita as people were saying about this movement. Oh... and for people saying this watch looks like Omega SMP 300 I sugget you put 2 pairs of glasses, this watch look nothing like Omega SMP 1. The wavy dial has a depth and some 3d effect to it, the omega one are just some wavy lines on the dial 2. Case is dodecagonal and has no HElium valve, omega case is round and has a HEV 3. The 3 hand on TAG are way way different from the skeletonized ones from Omega
