I'm a soccer player and I've twisted my ankles about 8-10 times ! Every sprain is different. You should only listen to your body and what it's telling you! If it's still hurting, do not do any big activity that stimulates it too much! I mean i think my worst sprain took 2 months to fully heal ! And LOST is amazing although the ending kind of sucks :) Missed you !

OMG 8-10 times?? I sprained my left ankle twice that I can remember and I honestly think my left foot walks differently. Some guy mentioned it to me one time after getting off the same bus and ending up going to the same apt building complex we lived in. He mentioned to me in the elevator saying how my left leg walks inwards and at that time, I didn't notice it much, but then I realized, shit i twisted it twice on the same damn leg. Have u noticed anything like that?

Ashley LeAnne well said. Not to mention that hearing a persons testimony, gives others "permission" to share their own. You're seeing it more and more because people are feeling it's more understood and accepted and thus more safe in a way to share.

Social Anxiety (and everything similar to it) is real and can keep you from doing even the simplest things. It's life altering. I think that's why they are on KZbin because they don't have to deal with the every day struggle with anxiety in a work setting. One should never judge w/o knowing what the person is going through. 🙂

I'm always spraining my ankles because they're so weak. It just depends on how quick your body heals because everyone's is different so if it takes a month to fully heal, that's fine. It also depends on how severe the sprain was. I'm no doctor but I'm just going off of experience

Amy I'm The Same Way. I Think About Things That Could Go Wrong And Try To Prevent It. I Overthink Everything. Like Mind Is Like A Never Ending Cycle. I Don't Really Sleep Because All I Think About Are My Problems And Things In My Life That Are Bad. I Try To Not Think About It. But It's Hard. I Have Insecurities And I Always Think About The Negative Shit. Like My Mind Runs 24/7. I Over Work. I Feel Like I Have To Get Things Done. But My Body Energy Is So Low But I Try To Force Myself. My Weight Is My Biggest Insecurity And I've Struggled With My Weight For About 6 Years. (I'm 17 Btw). Every Since I Started Gaining Weight I've Never Been Happy. I Isolate Myself From Everyone. And When People Try To Talk To Me I Put Up A Barrier And I Shut Them Down Without Giving Them A Chance. My Life Is Everywhere

I do have tips for the sleep problem and just in general when I used to have problems sleeping because my worries would keep me up I would literally just think of a dark deep blue ocean and think of only that and most of the time I was able to fall asleep because it was soothing. I also would recommend meditating or yoga! And I love to write about how I'm feeling sometimes because it helps me get all my thoughts and rationalize them. I am sending you positive vibes!

Christina Hanna I'm no expert, but I did lose a hundred pounds doing this. But try to find your jogging pace, take breaks. Also since I lost so much weight now I'm stuck and it became hard to lose now! I might need to take less breaks which is easier said than done.>_

Good to see you back! You look so much more bright, and relaxed, and serene than your previous videos. I am a med student and I actually LOLed at your Grey's Anatomy comment. It's actually not at ALL like the show. There are things that happen the same way but the whole drama aspect of it is purely for TV. You REALLY don't have that much time in your hands on your shift to do half of the things they do. Anywho I am glad you took some time to take care of yourself and reflect. Your ankle is going to take some time to heal and the not being able to walk is still normal. I dislocated my jaw back in Sept, and it took me 2 months to get it back to normal.

GIRL I FEEL YOU.. I just recently recovered from a broken foot after a total of 14 weeks not being able to walk without assistance. I was out all summer!! (The worst month to be out cause hey we barely get 3 full months of summer up here in Canada!) I couldn't put any weight at all on my foot for 9 weeks. 9 weeks!!!! All I did was lay on the couch in the same position as well, watch TV (which I never even do normally so I went a little cray) and feel sorry for myself that I couldn't even get the motivation to crutch outside and get some sun. People may think it sounds silly that such a 'small' incident affects us in such a way. But when you've never experienced this type of isolation before, it hits hard. It's hard not to be able to do anything for yourself and having to annoy someone else constantly to help you out. So I completely, completely understand exactly where you're coming from. Anyways, I'm glad you took time off to recover and collect your thoughts but try not to leave me again girl, you're my fav!!! I miss your snaps! Keep killin' the game XO

i've sprained/fractured my ankles 10-12 times (my right at least 8 times, left less than that) and to this day, my ankles still aren't 100% healed. they still feel weird, they still hurt from time to time, so it's totally normal that you're still limping! definitely try to walk as normal as possible, and work to improve it, cuz then it'll heel better! and when you are mostly healed , do some rehab exercises (when you're comfortable!) i'm so happy you're back and doing better! ❤️

I'm so glad you uploaded this video! I missed your videos so much! a sprained ankle should be some what healed in like two weeks.. however, what determines how long it takes to heal is what you are doing with your ankle such as putting a heating pad, soaking it in epsom salt, and keeping it elevated and maybe putting an ace bandage on. You should be doing all of these things in order for it to heal faster. I hope your ankle feels better I'm glad you took a break and enjoyed it because you definitely deserved it and everyone needs a break once in a while. 💕

I loveeee Young MA.. I was watching her months back before she got on. It was this video she did and it was so cold and just raw. She's really talented and we really don't hear good music like that anymore. Btw you look amazing! Glad to see you back.

Glad you are okay and back. Yes the pain of a sprain is unreal and takes so long to heal. The time of healing depends on the sprain as well. When I sprained my ankle I binged on the Hallmark Channel to the point where I could recognize the same actors and actresses in different movies lol! Don't feel guilty about taking time because the truth is a sprain hurts and makes you feel overall crappy. Also, a break is healthy for your mind, body and spirit!!

I love you so much Amy and I wish you the best of luck throughout your fitness journey! I can tell a major personality change in this video and I love it! Everyone needs a break every once in a while and I'm glad you got to take one to really get to know yourself! ❤️

Glad to see a new video from you! Taking a break is understandable. In other careers, most people are able to take vacations and whatnot from working, so it makes sense that KZbinrs need a break every now and then as well. Hope your ankle continues to heal properly!

don't worry that you aren't walking perfectly right away, me being a volleyball player, I get leg and ankle injuries all the time. just want around your house a couple times and double the amount you do it each day. that helped me so much. hope you feel better!

I saw one other comment mention this, but for the soreness in your ankle and any residual stiffness- definitely soak it in an epsom salt bath. Do this a number of times but epsom salt baths rock for sore, achy muscles! Also 4 weeks for a bad sprain seems normal, I would say not to fret too much but definitely try ice/heat switch offs (google how now athletes switch from ice to Heat and back again) and epsom salt bath for it! Also glad you got some time to relax! But also glad you are back!

My ankle is broken right now! I was in the middle of great weight loss progress, and when I got hurt, I got really depressed and the progress stopped. Now, I'm back to clean eating and going to the gym and I feel awesome! Good luck with the healing process
