Thanks for opening up and telling us how you've been feeling about life, about KZbin, about mental health, just being the Tammi we know and love. Seriously could not applaud you enough in this video for the amount of facts you were speaking. Also I know this may not be your thing, and trust me I'm not trying to compare you to anyone, but mind if I suggest something? So with you not wanting to talk as much sometimes (which trust me as a content creator I understand!) Would you ever consider like a makeup therapy type video? For example: Alissa Ashley has done a video or two wear she just fully focuses on thr makeup and just shows us a video with just background music no talking, kind of more closer shooting than normal and just really getting the feel of being one with yourself and the beauty products application. Like I said totally may not be your thing but as a true lover and follower of yours I know and see how much work you put into filming hours of content. Not saying it's a bad thing (because you know I STAN for your work), just thought you could use some of that hours of footage and prep past the few seconds or minutes of it for clips on IG or tiktok. Either way trust me the numbers don't show on here as well as other platforms but your Girlies really do love you and appreciate all the dedication you've given us over the years. Girllll! I completely feel you with everything! Especially the eczema, I have dry skin, infect very dry skin but I haven’t had eczema since I was young child and all of a sudden at 22 I had a massive flare up all over my shoulders my neck my elbows and it’s left scars I’m still dealing with. I think the flare up deffo has to do with stress so your on the right track in pin pointing where your stress/anxiety was and dealing with it!🤞🏾 I agree with you Tammi, I feel like more of us smaller and even bigger creators are moving towards tik tok, because the growth feels more rewarding, even Jackie Aina mentioned feeling the same as you in terms of lack of growth in youtube and she has 3M subbies so it’s deffo a topic that needs to be addressed because lack of growth for black creators is a thing. Hey, it's nice to hear from you. You said a lot about anxiety and all that, that's really important and self-aware. I totally can relate and on top of Anxiety I have Depression, OCD and BPD. And let me tell you that especially in the last year I really learned how important it is to take a step back every now and then and just concentrate on self-care. Because that's the only way to get our inner batteries charged. I for myself implemented that I'm taking one day a week off where I'm not answering the phone (and I mean to noone) and do whatever I'm in the mood for - wether it's reading a book, watching a movie or listening to a Podcast and crochet...I'll just do what makes me happy that day - no responsebilities. And you definitley put out a lot of content so it's understandable that you're tired or anxious. And I think it was getting a little bit much with how many videos you've been putting out - I kinda started to not enjoy them as much as before. So this break was helpfull in getting back into the mood.

Where I work (also in England), my employer has mental health days. If an employee is going through a hard time, physically but also mentally, they are encouraged to take a break, take a couple of days off, to just relax and recharge. You are your own boss, so you should absolutely be able to take a mental health break like the rest of us.

The relief i felt when I knew the kids were going back to school was immense 😂 im a terrible teacher and don't have the patience! I think its the routine we miss as parents so its great to have that back to some extent. We defo need to cut ourselves some slack though. Its been a year and fingers crossed we have made it through. If we were told this time last year that a year down the line we would still be in lockdown, we wouldn't believe we were able to cope with it. Look at us though, we did it! Hey how about switching out your retinol to a milder one. I used to live in Minnesota and I have dry skin but I was still able to start using retinol in that period without having crazy skin side effects. I’m now in the south where it’s warmer and my skin is now normal/oily and I still use the same retinol. I use the LilyAna Naturals brand, you can find it on Amazon

I've had eczema around my mouth for several years. If it's getting red and sensitive try a hydrocortisone cream. I would use a very low dose of retinol like 0.25% tretinoin so it doesn't over dry your skin. If your skin is flaky but not dehydrated a good exfoliating gel is Tony Moly Floria Brightening Peeling Gel. It uses the pulp from fruit to gently rub off dry skin. It's amazingly gentle

Tammy the retinol can cause skin dermatitis and dryness because it speeds up the skins cell turnover and sheds the top layer of skin. I would stop the retinol altogether and focus on getting a healthy skin barrier for a few weeks. When you start back on the retinol buffer it with a serum or moisturiser so either mix them or apply serum first then retinol. Im almost 43 trust me I've used a lot of retinol girl🤣
