I was paralyzed at 17 too. In a drunk driving accident. It is similar to yours. I'm 28 now. The driver of the car over corrected, going over a tickle belly hill, and the car cartwheeled, end over end 3 times. I was ejected 50 feet from the back windshield and broke my neck. I'm a c6/7 quadriplegic. The show "Push Girls" came out after my accident, and you were relatable and inspired me. I'm now moving to my own apartment, by myself, in a city 3 hours away from everyone I know. So, this is why I'm browsing your videos. For some girl-chair power.

So inspiring. In 2007 (at 31 years old) I was forced into retirement and considered disabled due to back, neck and carpal tunnel. I’m in constant pain and it changed everything about me. I pushed everyone away except my parents. Seeing you gives me hope. So inspiring, I wish I had your positivity and upbeat personalities.

I'm going through some crazy pain in my back and legs and some days I get so down with depression that I will not even want to get out of the bed! And I was having one of those days today and I seen your smiling faces and ur confidence & strength is absolutely alluring! But it made me get up and get going! So ty for that! I wish u both all of the happiness that your hearts can hold! Many blessings to you both!

Hi. Y’all mentioned how you’re apprehensive of the 20+ years in a wheelchair mark. It’s coming! We can’t beat years and age. Keep staying as active as possible and try to stay in tip-top health as much as you can. And babies... pregnancy was one of the greatest gifts and blessings, especially being paralyzed. Being a mom in a wheelchair has its challenges, but it really wasn’t hard. I was amazed on how creative I got!! I raised 3 kids, one from birth, the other two from toddler years. They’re all grown now! Wow, it was just yesterday they were little!! Anyway, keep reaching out, you’re making a difference in lives of other young disabled girls. And remember, they ARE watching you... watching EVERYTHING.

At september 16, it’s 5 years since I’m in a wheelchair. I never celebrated that but now you and Sam made me feel it’s worth celebrating. In the last months I become much more confident in my chair and you and all the rollettes helped me with that proces. 🤍

Oh my goodness her story of falling out of the window breaks my heart into pieces. I got apts on the 3rd floor for the same reason her mom did. Or the highest floor if the complex was 2 levels high I would request 2. I’m glad she’s making the best of everything.

So proud of you both💜 can’t wait till you guys both have kids would love to be there for you every step of the way! Your children will be your best friends, and the best helpers when you need it, and you won’t even really have to ask because they’ll see that you need it. It’s hard to explain but that’s how Wyatt is!

Quarantine has me eating better than I have done for years. I’m not able to drive and don’t have any family near, so I’m getting my groceries through a family that live nearby (so I don’t have to use public transport) and I don’t want to be any bother to them (they say I’m not any bother at all), so I’m not buying any junk food. I’m eating lots more than I used to, but I’ve lost some weight too!
