Oh my goodness-we have such similar gallbladder attack stories…!!!!! I think it was in 2005, I was about 50 years old when totally out of the blue one morning at work, I got so sick. For the last 14 years of my career before retirement, I worked in at a very large hospital, so I was already at the hospital-LOL. I was the executive assistant to one of the senior administrators, who is also a registered nurse. I had gone in her office with my waste basket in my hand, to lie down on her sofa-it was early, so she hadn’t arrived yet. When she arrived, the second she saw me and looked in the trash can, she said, “I’d bet a million dollars you are having a gallbladder attack!!!”. She put me in a wheelchair and took me downstairs to the ER. After getting a shot for the nausea to get the dry heaves under control, getting some IV fluids, and undergoing a few tests, my boss was absolutely right-two weeks later, I had gallbladder surgery…!!!

Hi Granny Pat….first, don’t listen to whoever said you’re not looking at us. I have never felt that way, and many of your viewers agree, cause I’ve read a lot of the comments. About your gallbladder….My gallbladder story started the night I brought my 2nd son home from the hospital from giving birth. I put up with those attacks for 9 months, cause I was like you, not going to the doctor, not going to the hospital, I’ll be ok later or tomorrow. I went from weighing 145 to 85 pounds. Finally, I agreed to the ER when I was having an attack. I didn’t have gallstones, my gallbladder was bad, and because I waited so long, it might affect my spleen they said. They couldn’t do my surgery right away because a count was too high in my blood. That was back in 1987. I love listening to your stories and seeing all of the things you want us to see. Hope you’re having a good day.
