Just keep doing what you're doing, Granny Pat! Tell stories, share recipes, show off your vintage treasures. I'm not even sure how I found your channel - KZbin suggested it to me probably because of the kinds of content I like to watch - cooking, vlogs, etc. So I think it will just be a constant ebb and flow - people will also find your vids, subscribe, some unsubscribe...But many will stay. Just like you, we may take a day or two off from watching here and there (mostly just due to being busy, tired, or needing a little break from the internet)...But that doesn't mean we don't think about you. We're still here, and you'll always get a view and a thumbs up from me ❤

Hi Granny Pat...I've read several comments that KZbin is acting up & some of your viewers are being "unsubscribed." Just mention this on your next video to remind them to check to make sure this hasn't happened to them! I do know that this is considered the "slow season" to pick up new subscribers! Believe me its not you!!! You're truly the best out there! Don't worry about it because your stories are so lovely! We all cam relate to them either through our own experiences or from what our moms & grandmas have told us! I miss my mom & her stories so much & listening to you bring all those sweet memories back to life! Thankyou Granny Pat for all you do! I look forward to all your videos! Love you dear friend!❤❤😘

I checked to see if I was subscribed, as you just brought it up, and I looked to see, and sure enough I WAS UNSUBSCRIBED!!! Lately the other channels I watch told us to check to see if we were still subscribed because they were finding that their subscribers were dropping off! Sure enough they had not unsubscribed. It must be something that UTUBE is doing wrong but I certainly did NOT unsubscribe!! I love your content ecspecially your stories.

Granny Pat, I have heard other KZbinrs say their numbers have gone down too. Then their subscribers check to make sure if they are subscribed and low and behold they are not. So KZbin sometimes messes with things, whether on purpose or not. So ask your people to make sure they are still subscribed. I really don't think people are unsubscribing on purpose. We love ya!

Many wonderful memories with those S&H stamps. My mom saved for a long , long time and got a beautiful set of luggage for the family to have when we would go on vacation once a year in August before school started up in the Fall. My Dad had a hard time getting used to such a luxury because he was always the last to pack after four kids and mom! He would just throw his stuff in and old paper grocery sack!! PoorDad!! We had so many stamps we finally started soaking a sponge with water and running the stamps lightly over it and then pasting them in the books!! Our tongues didn’t get so dry!!! What fun we had ! Thanks Granny Pat for the memories. I just love you and your stories.

My grandma saved S&H stamps. She has a step stool like yours, but it was red. I sat on that many times as a child. I love hearing your stories, especially when it gives me a clue as to how Grandma may have gotten some of the items for her home. Your story about the Jewel Tea man…going door to door. Perhaps this is how she got her Autumn Leaf dishes. She died when I was 18. I had no interest in those things, but now I do. Thank you for these stories that connect me closer to my sweet grandma. ❤

My dad (mom died few years ago) still has furniture they bought with SH green stamps. I had fun sticking them in the books! One time mom and dad came home with a toy for each of us 4 kids from the stamps. Oh what a treat! I got a small teddy bear - maybe 12 in in length, that squeaked when I pressed on its stomach. Those were wonderful days and I miss them and my mom.

Hi Granny Pat! ❤ You seemed to be a little down in your video. You know you have been very busy the past several weeks and your days were filled with family, celebrations, visiting, makeover, spending time with your sister, travel, preparing food and the list could go on. It is a big letdown to be back in the old grind after being so active. You are back home and the daylight hours allow little time to enjoy the sun. The winter in January is cold , drab and just not much to get excited about. Please remember that you have given us all so much in each video that we could not replace because what we got was sweet and wonderful Granny Pat. Your stories are witty and told in your charming way that can take us from laughter to tears and then to our feel good moments. You leave us each time with things to remember and serious thoughts about what you have shared. We look forward to your next video and smile when we see a new post. Not many people can do that, my friend. January will be winding down soon. The daylight hours will be longer and soon that sunshine beaming through your window will give you energy and your routine will make you busy, content and happy. All the while you must remember you give a good example each day in your attitude about this wonderful world we live in and how you have been blessed with all of us. You have done much more for us by being Granny Pat. You are special to me and I look forward to your next chit chat and perhaps a visit from your kitchen. We all love new ideas in fixing things to eat. You have a good Saturday, my friend. Hugs. Nancy from IN. 😊 P.S. I fixed your vegetable bars last week and they were a big hit.

I liked the story about the blue horse notebook paper. I’m almost 80 and I remember that but haven’t thought about that since I was little lol. One thing that came to my mind listening to you was I was real young but I remember getting ahold of a card that said I could order some cowboy records so I mailed it. It probably didn’t need postage. Well when the records came a bill came with it. I was from 7 children so you know daddy didn’t need that bill but I don’t remember being fussed at about it . The name of the record I remember was “Ride um Cowboy “ Just thought I’d share that with you. I love to hear your stories as I can relate to a lot of the. Hi Dearest Pat! I love your top. It's so pretty. You look great in any color, even white. First of all, please don't get discouraged about subscribers. You are so popular, as you can see when you read these comments. Remember when you were celebrating that you had reached 10,000 subscribers. You have more than 3 times that many now. If a few people unsubscribe it's just the cycle of life. Maybe some people got new computers and phones for Christmas and they are in the middle of updating their subscriptions. Some people may be overwhelmed with snow removal and have unsubscribed to their You Tube Channel. It will come back. Your true fans and friends will not leave you. We love reminiscing with you. I had forgotten how much fun the Green Stamps were till I watched your video. That brought back great memories for me. I remember my Mom buying gas and getting drinking glasses. I remember cutting out tops from my cereal and getting toys in the mail. So exciting. One of the greatest was this. There was a local furniture store where my Mom could put things on layaway. I loved layaway. One time we went there to pay on the layaway and they gave us an appreciation gift. My Mom and I both got a necklace from them. It was a gold colored chain. On the chain was a fried marble. Remember fried marbles? They looked like cracked crystals. I still love them. Sometimes I make them and do crafts. One necklace was yellow, one blue. I loved these necklaces so much. You know how it is when you are a little girl and see sparkly things. It was the best. Hang in there my friend. Your subscriptions will rise. Think back to when you got your first 100. Look how far you have come. Love you to the moon and back. You're the greatest. From Shirley in Hanover PA

Big howdy from Texas here!! I too get excited to talk to someone from another country. I am always full of questions for them because I have never left the United States, but I will be going on a cruise to Labadee Haiti in March. I am excited but nervous at the same time.

It was a new concept to be able to buy something with stamps, which felt like it was free! Lol! I love your stories Oat due to the fact it triggers memories often forgotten! It is always wonderful! I have relived so many beautiful times as a youngster, and young adults. It’s just lovely! Thank you! Sweet dreams dear. ♥️✨🙏🕊

I remember when I was a kid Mom used to save S&H stamps. I remember helping her get them together and get them ready to put in the little books to turn in. Then we would go to the store and she would trade them in for dishes or whatever. Matter of fact, I still have Mom's purse and there's a few stamps left inside her coin purse. And I also have an antique tin box that belonged to my Grandma that has some stamps in it, probably from the 1970's or early 1980's. Hun, we won't ever lose interest in your story telling. You remind us of a time when the world was more innocent and life was easier. And for those younger ones who don't remember some of the things you talk about, will learn from your stories because you are interesting. And about you numbers showing that you lost some subscribers... sometimes KZbin has a glitch and we all lose subscribers from time to time when KZbin burps. So don't take that personally, everyone of us who have channels have experienced that. As Mom would say "it'll all work out in the end". And Miss Pat, no truer words were ever spoken! Watching you and loving you in North Texas. (I work night shift Security and am a Woman about to retire in a couple of years, and I thoroughly enjoy watching and listening to you at night while at work.) Take care of yourself and stay warm and you don't worry your pretty little head about those lost subscribers, they'll come back or will be replaced soon with new ones.

When I was a young mother of three I saved green stamps to buy extra little things for my home. I had saved many books to buy a cassock, don't think I spilled that right. Any way got it home, put it in the family room,it looked so nice. A few hours later when in to look at it and there was a BIG cut in the top of it. My three year old had cut it to " see what was in it". That is my green stamp story a day late.

Welll...this BEE is alittle late to the video broadcast!! However, I thoroughly enjoyed the chit chat with Granny Pat. I was in the kitchen making sourdough bread and longed for someone to be there with me while I waited patiently for the bread to bake; just for chit chat. And, then there on KZbin, was sweet GP, ready to chat. ❤ I personally think your green stamp history, was one of the best stories you have told. I think the visuals of the books and the dispensers were perfectly combined to make for a very informative chat. My mom never had the dispenser. That tidbit of information was very cool to me. But, sadly I have to ask....who do I now tell this history to? My children or granddaughters could never relate to this time in history. Nor, do they seem to care. Oh GP, sadly our history has become irrelevant to the current generations. But, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for keeping my history alive. God bless you. ❤🐝fromCO.

I have found that I was unsubscribed on other KZbin channels and need to subscribe again. I think I’m doing something wrong when giving the thumbs up🙃 Just don’t understand why it happens. Keep that in mind Granny Pat. I’ll bet those that unsubscribe from your channel was not intentional ❤
