Travelling from Sharjah to Dubai is a nightmare, if you have your own transport or company transport n if you leave sharjah around 7:15am, then to reach bur dubai, will take you 1hr15 mins, if you have to reach DIC, then you have to add another 30mins, almost 3-4 hours you will spend daily on travelling, there is no direct public transport from Sharjah to Dubai. At office hours, a taxi from sharjah to Dubai will cost between AED 160-180 one way. Considering all these factors, if the work place is in Dubai, its better to stay in dubai itself

Hi Shilpa...nice video...I was looking for such info when I moved to AD from Delhi in 2016 and there were almost none....But I don't think a small family can live well in 10K in Dubai if they rent an apartment...maybe in a partitioned villa, one can get a studio and it will be inclusive of utilities, wifi etc so one can economise a lot...and there a lot of other expenses like fines, car renewal fees, travel costs etc...but then it all varies from people to people....somebody's luxury may be somebody's necessity, so it is hard to generalise....but if one earns a couple of lacs in India per month, one needs around 25K to get the same standard of life in Dubai/AD....thanks...

Hi Gurleen, Generally you dont walk that much, mostly you travel through cars or bus and then you end up in the building (house, store, office etc) which all are well heated, so you don't feel that cold rather you feel more cold when you are in India. Basically you dont need snow pants at all for normal day to day life but if you are going for skying etc then ofcourse you need snow pants.

We live in canada currently, but life here is a bit stressful. We are thinking of moving but india is not a good option for us. Would you recommend moving to dubai from canada? We don't have kids and dont plan to have. Would really appreciate your feedback.

For sure Dubai is the easiest option to move out from Canada…if u don’t have kids and earn close to 15 k dirhams per month as a family income, you can have a decent life if not luxurious

Why not India when you get all facilities here plus huge salary, like Sr role in IT company will pay close to 1.6 CR per year. You all are ignorant nd even don't know how much Indian millennials are making now a days.

Life in canada is horrible, high taxes then pay taxes for everything that you buy on top of taxed income. Then the government provided schooling and services are horrible like the Healthcare system and schooling environment for kids with the lgbtq movements these days kids in elementary are being taught about lgbtq.... the west isn't as good as it seems. Talking with experience been here for 20 years since high-school and thinking about moving to Middle East now.
