Chittu Kuruvi is one of the oldest evergreen song. This song was originally sung by P. Susheela. Its a very popular song even today because of the legendary work of Vishwanathan-Ramamoorthy and Kannadasan. Here is my version of cover of this beautiful song.

Since I have already given the feedback for this “Twitter Whisper “song a week ago, not going to reinvent the wheel again… Got to mention 2 beautiful faces on the video cover… Madhu, looking great as ever, as fresh as a daisy…. The other one is the very cute looking photo of Nadigar Thilagam, Nadippu chakravarthy, Mahaa nadigan , the greatest Indian actor ever, the one and only Sivaji Ganesan… This song is from the movie Pudhiya Paravai (1964). From my memory, Pudhiya Paravai was Sivaji Ganesan’s 98th movie from his final tally of 288. 99th was Muradan Muthu and his 100th movie was Navarathiri. The other hit songs from this movie apart from chittu kuruvi are: Enge Nimmadhi Ahaa Mella nada mella nada Unnai ondru kaetpaen unnmai solla vaendum Paartha gnaabagam illayo. P.Suseela has named Unnai ondru kaetpaen and paartha gnaabagam in her favorite song list. PunchLine: A bird song (chittu kuruvi) in a bird movie (pudhiya paravai)… Madhu did justice but the dynamics could have been better still if only the konjal and kenjal in the original song was incorporated into this one :-) Amazing how P.Suseela has "mimic"ed the "Konji thamizh paesum" Saroja Devi's tamizh accent so nicely in this song...genius. Madhu, a potential P.Suseela HEIR A super(b) singer with a designer HAIR :-)
